Ana gets kidnapped at 16 and is abused and hurt every day and she and Christian were best friends and he holds out hope that one day he will find her again. Six years later he is in the BDSM lifestyle and finds her when he is looking for a new sub. He instead shows her what real love is and helps her rebuild her life.
