On the whole I'm enjoying your story. However, your use of the word mongoloid is really quite offensive! It's kind of ruining your characters for me! It would have been better if you stuck to calling him a dog, mongrel, Neanderthal, etc... I'm guessing you don't know what a mongoloid is?
