Once again, better than coffee to wake you up and get your juices flowing in the morning. Thank you for that. Too bad the hubs left for work already. Especially since the kids have left for school. ;) Oh well, I'll just have to wait until our chat later tonight before we go to bed I guess.

Great talk with Carlisle. Someone needs to give Edward a little more of a push because for someone so smart, he sure is slow when it comes to figuring out that Isabella is his mate. You'd think with all the mated couples around him and the whole mind reading thing he would have put it together. I guess denial isn't just a river in Egypt. ;-)

Another wonderful chapter. I love that he is spending more time with his children, thinking already of how Charles will fit in with his children and hoping the Isabella will want to be their mother. So, if the Queen sees them together, say acting somewhat inappropriately, would that hurry things along? To save his and her reputation?  Just wondering. See ya next time. 

Another wonderful chapter. I love all the details that you put into each chapter. When Esme showed Isabella the library, I thought of the scene in Beauty and the Beast.  Yep, I know. Not your normal thought process for a person who reads NC-17/M rated stories but I do love to watch Disney movies with the family. I could picture the same awe and joy in Isabella's face that Bella had. Anyway, Edward has got it bad for Isabella and Esme is enjoying every minute of it. I just don't see them making it through the whole year of morning. 

Christmas traditions - we have 2 trees at our house. One is all snowmen and the other is a hodge podge of ornaments made by or picked out by my boys. Every year, the day after thanksgiving(starting with black Friday sales so by midnight Thursday), I do all my Christmas shopping. Then I come home and hid the gifts, completely decorate my house (takes me about 8 hours) and then wrap anything not from Santa. All of this is done while my husband and boys are gone male binding with the other men in the family. On Saturday, I decorate the yard and house. The following weekend we all go to the store together and pick out a new ornament for both trees, an snowman that represents our personality and a fun ornament for the other tree. Then on Christmas eve, everyone opens one gift which is always new pajamas to wear that night and the next morning to open presents on Christmas Day. If my husband is not working at the fires station, we will attend midnight mass on Christmas eve as well, but we haven't gone in a few years. We always host Christmas at our house for both sides of the family since we are the only ones with children. So I cook dinner and we watch football (it's Texas of course we watch football). 

Hope you enjoyed my traditions. Not a lot of old fashion ones but they are ours.

I loved this chapter and the teaser. Master Edward learning to milk a cow was too perfect and you wrote it where you could feel the electricity between them. And Lady Esme's comment at the end was just squeal worthy!  I can't wait to read more.

Another wonderful chapter. Isabella is stubborn, but like you said she has to be to shoulder the responsiblities that she does at her age. Even during that time, running a home, farm, caring for an ailing mother and a 4 year old brother was not that common. Not completely uncommon, but not something that every daughter had to look forward to doing so young. I love the way this is written and how wonderful and caring Carlisle and Esme are. As for what Esme has planned for Edward?  Maybe she will try to get him to escort Bella to the dancer?  See ya next chapter. I look forward to the update showing up in my inbox. 

I love this Bella and Esme. Bella is resolute in her lot in life and not bitter, just accepting. Esme is stubborn and will not give up trying to bring Bella into society as her daughter of sorts. I think if Renee could express her feelings on the matter, she would encourage Bella to allow Esme's attentions since no mother wants here daughter to live such a hard and isolated life. As for Edward, he will probably be hard-hearted having lost his wife but he will be enchanted by Bella strength and beauty. Maybe?  Guess we will just have to wait and see. Until next time.

Edward is a good father and loves his children. It shows through his actions, even if they are different than what we would expect today. He does miss Sarah but your right that he misses her more for the children than himself. They should have their mother and it seems he feels he has failed them somehow by her dying. I can t wait for him to meet Isabella. This should be good. Thanks for all the amazing updates so quickly this weekend. 

I kind of figured that Renee would pass away before anything could really develop between Edward and Isabella. He will be even more protective of her and with both of them coming to her while she is still freshly dealing with this, she will lean on them more than if she had to deal with it alone from the very beginning. She will appreciate the support with the changes in the farm and the loss of her mother all at the same time. 

Wonderful chapter and a wonderful preview. Edward is so smitten with Isabella already in this chapter that there is no turning back for him. He sure was bitten by the love bug hard and fast.
