Going on horrible dates was something that Bella always did well at. Nothing made her happier then to see the back of a man as he fled to get away from her. She was having so much fun until she ended up on a date with the most chauvinistic man in New York. How could one date have gone so wrong? He, along with his crew, were given a mission to deliver Empress Nirabelle of the Cygnarian people to the nearby planet of Lapus, to negotiate a treaty between their two worlds. For over a millennia, they have been fighting a vicious battle. For what? They don’t even know. It’s ingrained in their minds and their history. 

The Empress is to meet with the Crown Prince of Lapus, Jakob. The Volvo is transporting her and her envoy, Maralice to the planet. There are strict rules in place for the Empress’s transport. She is to not have any contact with any males on the ship, per the cultural norms of Cygnarian society. The trip should take as little time as possible and if no headway has been made within one day of being in orbit, Captain Cullen is to transport the Empress from the planet’s surface. 

However, something goes terribly wrong on Lapus. One communication to the Volvo and a brief face-to-face conversation forever changes the future of the Empress and Captain Cullen. 

Will they survive this threat or are the Star Crossed lovers doomed before they even have a chance?

Bella's parents never split up, Renee never followed her dreams and escaped Forks. Thus, Bella has grown up in a constantly overcast small town with a police chief father and a mother who's checked out emotionally.  She's still the straight A student whose never met a boy who peaked her interest but she did find other ways to escape her suffocating life. 

Edward and the Cullens move back to Forks as they did previous to the first novel, only Bella is already there.  Edward is still a vampire with an Edwardian man's sensibilities, and he's still drawn inexorably to Bella, despite her pasttimes.

One-shot for the Mistletoe Contest. She was good, honest, sweet ... alone. He wanted her happy, whole, safe ... his. Two  strangers, one road trip at Christmas. Thank you SunflowerFran for airbrushing my words.

It's Christmas Eve in Forks and a lonely Bella goes out for a   drive.She stops to help a motorist whose car is broken down on the road. What happens when she knows the person and drives him home. Watch as the love unfolds between our characters.

Edward wins more than he bargained for at what was supposed to be a friendly poker game. AH.

Edward and his friends spend a day at the pier. They visit the fortune teller and she tells Edward that he will find something, and not to throw it away. She tells him to search for it with all that he has. Will he find it? or will it slip passed him?

A change in the past makes an early intervention necessary for the Cullens. This story is complete and I will upload one or two chapters each week.
