Being thrown into the trunk by Debbie Pelt forced Sookie to the realization that there was no longer any time for her to put off answering the hard questions in her life.  But will she have the opportunity to enact the epiphanies she makes while waiting for Bill to "wake up" in the trunk?  And what of Eric? Will feeling Sookie's terror make him more or less regretful about the feelings he hates having?

Sookie meets Godric and Eric under different circumstances when she is first introduced to the supernatural world around her.  Will Godric be lost to the darkness or finally find salvation after his many years of internal struggle? Will Eric be able to regain the last vestiges of his humanity that have slowly been slipping away, and will Sookie finally accept that being normal isn't necessarily what is best for her? Can they find hope for the future in each other, or will their lives fall apart from the chaos that is threatening to consume them?

This is a Godric/Sookie/Eric story in Godric's point of view. For the purpose of my story I used both the books and the show as inspiration, but I  preferred Godric as Eric's maker. Much thanks go to kittyinaz for her awesome banner!

Summary: Set at the end of True Blood, Season 4, what if it wasn’t Tara whom Debbie Pelt killed? What if it was Sookie? (A vampire-Sookie story & a re-imagining of Season 5)

Context: Sookie has just left Eric and Bill at the end of Season 4, telling them that she can’t be with either one of them. But she doesn’t linger at Bill’s door very long. Instead, she visits Gran’s grave. Instead of the fairies coming for her, an old foe shows up.
