I'm a wife, mother, friend, writer, and dreamer. How I got into Twilight, and the fandom, is a funny little story. It all started with a trip to Walmart.

The husband and I were in the market for a new horror flick. Yeah, I know. It's kind of leap to go from horror to Twilight, but just bear with me.

Being the unobservant man he his, hubs holds up Twilight and says, "Hey, this has vampires in it. We should get it." I shugged, said okay, and the rest was history. He complained when he saw Edward sparkle, got mad when there wasn't much action or blood, and demanded the time he wasted watching the movie back. I, on the other hand, had found my new obsession.

I devoured the books within 5 days and then read them again. At one time, I could have probably quoted all four books. Now, not so much.

New Moon still makes me mad. The first time I read the break up scene, I threw the book and refused to read it for two days. I felt betrayed. I'm still upset with Edward for making me have to suffer through Bella's depression.

I stumbled onto fanfiction by accident. While looking for a little uncompleted story called, "Midnight Sun", I found a link to the Twilight section for Fanfiction on Stephanie Meyer's site. I figured if she's linking to it, then it must be okay to read.

I was blown away by the talent, not to mention how the characters were used in All Human stories and A/U fics. I'm still in awe with the talent out there.

I've learned, once I tried my hand at writing, it's the best form of therapy there is. Also, I tend to plot out stories I'm working on when I'm...well, let's just say the characters fight for attention in my head.

Forever is a Promise You Keep:

I'm not going to lie. This particular story is going to be angst-ridden. So if it's not your cup of tea, I wish you well. Otherwise, you're in for a ride. I do believe in HEA, but as to what that entails is another story. I can't promise you fluffy bunnies and rainbows at the end. What I will promise is that I will try to be as real as possible. This story is based off of events that happened to my husband in the summer of 2003.
