I started reading this story today and could not walk away from it. There's just one tiny baby hiccup with your grammar using thees and thous. Please pardon me for being so forward in pointing it out. I looked around for a reference that could help, this is the best I've found:

If you speak a foreighn language it could help to think of "thou" as the informal 2nd person form for English (like "ti" in Spanish).
