I understand questioning Why and If. I've done it my whole life. I am a "believe it if I can touch it see it" person. And the thought of death paralyzes me in fear. I don't get why evil people live and good people suffer. And I went years and years before giving up on a baby. Nothing changed til I got gastric bypass and a miracle happened and I got pregnant. Sorry to hear about your difficulties~I had lots of problems and ended up having to have a hysterectomy at age 26. I had two sons (the last one a very BIG surprise)only because of medical advances and surgery. Had this been a long time ago I would have died trying to have the first one. As it was, the second barely made it, and I was told he was going to be mentally challenged and a dwarf. Wrong. He just turned 35, he's 6 foot tall and has a college degree in Computer Science and Business. I had a friend with PCOS who was told she'd never have a baby. They adopted a little girl and then went on to give birth to two daughters. I believe there is still so much we don't know or understand about the human body.

I have beliefs at my core that will never change, but I struggle
more with doubt now that I ever thought I would. I am at the
point now, where I am just going to have to trust that the "No,"
that is my current answer from God has a reason. Not one I
currently understand, but I figure some day I will know. And if
not, then he'll look at me and my feeble "Why?" and say what
he said to Job ... "Where were you when ... ?"
I am grateful that you like this story so much. I am going to
try really hard to stop with the hiding and delve into finishing
this story REALLY soon, including the separate futuretake I
promised MrsK81 I would write ... with NakEdward. ;) Make
sure to put me on alert.

As the mother of two young men, who myself experienced years of infertility, I feel your pain. I lost more than my fair share of pregnancies on the road to success. As we age, the issues only seem to compound.
IVF worked for us. Not on the first try, be eventually, we were successful. Four years later, again after batteries of hormone injections, Progesterone infusions, baby #2 became a reality.
Needless to say Cancer had plans for my reproductive system, shortly thereafter, and the hopes for the large family became a mute issue.
We wanted a family of 8 and were blessed with a family of 2 children. I was fortunate that while years of teaching elementary school, I was able to satisfy by fixation for a large family.
You have found an outlet, and you will thrive. Write. Read. Be patient. It will come.

It is really hard to be patient. I'll be 40 this year. At this point, I figure I will just
have to ask God why one day. If it even matters any more at that point! LOL
