you have woven a story with many amazing twists on the original. it's almost like an original, it IS original. interesting theory on the origin of vampires....since they have no presiding officials, is there no body who knows the real story? I suppose Emmett's version will suffice since there is no one to say differently....mutation IS how many other species have come about, so it seems logical....you reveal here just a hint of Bella's back story and I'm eager to hear more. Also about her origins.....with each succeeding chapter, I fall under it's spell, this story, just a bit more....Lovely job, dear. You do always grab and hold my attention with your diverse works!

Great chapter, Dis! I got a good laugh out of Edward running inside when he saw the sun coming up. Then he hid between the windows... bwahahaha. That was good,girl!! But then you made my heart hurt when he was being so mean to Bella. I wanted to cry when she said, "You don't have to be so cruel." I can imagine how I would feel if the person I knew was my mate, was being so hurtful to me. Her heart has to be breaking. You've made me wonder whether she knows for a fact that he will eventually feel the same about her; or does she think it is possible that he will leave her. I LOVE THIS STORY!!! I'm getting the feeling that there is a really good back story to Bella's change.
Btw, I thoroughly enjoyed Edward's time in the shower. I'm just glad you let me watch instead of having to just hear him like poor Bella did. It was a perfect scene!!

I don't know who I feel the most sorry for, Edward or Bella. I definitely understand his anger. However, I think Bella was probably very young when she was turned, so maybe she didn't make the most mature decision. She could have handled the situation a little better, given him time to become completely enthralled with her and then given him a choice. She knew he was her mate, but not being a vampire, he wouldn't know that. And we all know that sometimes we have to let men THINK they are making the decisons, right? If he had refused her, she could have just changed him anyway. ;) So I guess I feel the greatest sorrow for Bella. His rejection must be breaking her heart. After all, Edward now gets to live forever, gets to have great sex for hours at a time without getting tired, and has a ready-made hot woman to do it with. Nope, don't feel as sorry for him. ;)
Great chapter, Dissy!! I can't wait until next week. Btw, I will be happy to take care of Edward's "frustration" for him until he and Bella work things out.
