Their problem also is they are 2 strong push / pull types of people. Like the ends of a battery. Bella was only beginning to know herself when Edward confiscated her life. HOw could she be happy with or know who she is? What she. Knows is she loves her family deeply. She will simply exist as his arm candy just to keep them safe. Edward does the things that are expected of him. He follows his self imposed code to stay alive and keep his family safe - just like Bella. He is decorum and rules and she is loose and easy going if allowed. But he won't. Their chemistry is brilliant! Kudos on that!
As I see it, Edward needs to ask himself one very smart and yet basic question. "Why did I not just kill this girl at a convenient time years ago?" He might be surprised by the answer. Again, thank you for giving us a piece that ,ales us truly think about the human condition. I adore it!
