Wow, that was amazing :)  I really am happy they are moving forward, slowly but surely.

Well, I'm glad that the two of them are back together. And why the hell didn't Emmett believe him? Seriously? Edward's NEVER lied to him, with the exception of him being with the FBI, but other than that, he's no reason to NOT believe him. And yes, those two need to talk. I'm just happy that he could pull her out of the catatonic state. And what's going to happen with Randall? Is he going to cause more shit or is that just a fleeting mention at loose ends? Thanks for sharing!

Way to go Mama Esme. I can't fault her for not liking Bella right now, I don't like Bella right now. I know she feels she has to prove something but I think she went by it the wrong way. She ended up hurting more people than helping anything in my eyes. Can't wait to see how this ends up

I disagree with Bella. She could have her own place and still be with Edward going on dates ACTING NORMALLY. I think it would serve her fucking right if Edward made her fucking WORK for it. He gave her his trust and love and hell, she was the first woman whom he could touch in a romantic way. What she did was fucked up just cutting him off completely. I can understand needing her own separate space but to cut him out completely seems wrong to me.

So the depth of Bella's self-centeredness is just astonshing to me.  She leaves in the middle of the night with no note, no phone call (not even a freakin' text or post-it).  She ditches her phone, she leaves no address.  Edward has no way of contacting her without going through the humiliating way of asking Emmett.  Who wants to ask someone else how to contact their girlfriend??  I mean, can you even call someone your girlfirend if you can't talk to them? don't even know where they live?

Bella is all about Bella right now.  Yes, what she went through was AWFUL.  I don't minimize that.  But Edward needs her too - and she has not provided him one ounce of support when it would be difficult for her to give it. She doesn't even seem curious about what is going on with him.  He is going through his own therapy about his YEARS of trama, he is going back to school, quiting his job, probably has some stress with his Dad over that, etc.  But not once has she asked about it.  She left him no way to seek her for support!  He is just left high and dry.  And when he showed just a hint of his broken heart, she laid the ultimate guilt trip of "don't make this harder on ME than it has to be".  What about Edward?  What about how hard it is on him??  

At this point, her "I love you's" are just words.  Empty, empty words.  How can you love someone but not think about their welfare?  Not be curious as to how they are doing?  Not be WORRIED about what they are doing?  I don't think Bella really loves Edward like he loves her.  I don't think she has the ability to love like he deserves to be loved.  He has done everything for her, and she just up and left.

Edward has pushed himself so hard for her.  His love is completely shown through every action he takes.  Seems to me that Bella's true colors as a spoiled mafia princess are glaring through every action, word she takes once the going gets rough.  She has every single person around her telling her that she is going about this all wrong, but she is just too damn spoiled to listen.  I get that she wants to be back to where she was before she was kidnapped, but she has to know that is never going to happen.  Her insistance that "she isn't what he wants her to be" is just cowardly BS.  She can run off and hide in her new condo, but she is leaving a wonderful man heartbroken and alone.

Earlier in their relationship, when she supported him, it ultimately didn't cost her much.  She wanted sexual intimacy and supporting him actually got her what she wanted.  I'm not saying she doesn't care about him, but she seems to be pretty fair-weather.  The going gets tough and she boots him to the curb.  I am just astonished that she left them no avenue to communicate.  A short phone call every evening?  A date every Friday?  Come on!  She basically dumped him.

It seems she has left him with the ultimate "it is not you it is me" and now he is high and dry.

Truly, I hope he goes back to Boston to finish his law degree at Harvard.  It is not like whether he is in Seattle or Boston makes any difference to her since she isn't even talking to him.  I know it is not in his nature, but I almost hope he tries to date other people.  I am really a E&B HEA person to the core, but in this case, Edward just deserves so much better.  He deserves to have someone be in his court through thick and thin - not just when it is "easy" or for the other person's benefit too.  He has to be just gutted and his heart has to be broken.  The first time he really works to let someone in and she treats him like shit and essentially leaves him.  I can't imagine how heart-broken he is.  He so doesn't deserve it.

I have no idea how he could ever trust her again or even believe in her love.  Real love is actions, her love is just words.

Bella's being pretty selfish and cruel to Edward. Getting back your independence is one thing. Flying off w no forwarding address or phone call or email or text is another. Edward is hurting too and she just left him high and dry. If I were Edward it would take a lot to ever be able to trust her again as she is so totally and completely self centered right now. Never thought I'd say this but maybe Edward should try to date other girls to see what it is like to be w someone who can be supportive when it costs them something in return. Bella was supportive earlier but it was for her win gain (ie intimacy). I'm so done w her treating him like crap. Yes she had a huge trama but so did he. 

I liked this... Even though she's being irrational it's great to get in her heard... Though what a bitch for taking carina! Lol can't wait for more.

Bella does need to get some independence back, so much was stripped away from her. She needs to do this to claim some sense of normalcy.

*flinches* he doesnt realize a week has passed by with all the extra hours hes putting in at work before he quits, that she has already left. now he has all the more reason to avoid her like he told his mom. he brought this on his self even though she asked for the space, he could of still been there for her even if it was for a few hours a day. keep up the good work.

I liked that Edward tried to comfort hurt but knew that it wasn't working and to call someone else. Can't wait to read the next chapter.

Oh Bella. really though, what does she expect? She told him she needs time, he is just trying to protect himself.

Well, Bella also has to take into consideration what Edward is feeling along with herself. That's what girl and boyfriends do!

This is sad. I get what Bella thinks she needs....and maybe she does!  I get that Edward is hurt. It feels to him like he is being pushed away. He's taking it personally while knowing it's not. Sometimes we can't help putting up walls. It's less painful than being emotionally pummelled. I get that. Still, it's sad....

It is a good thing that Edward loves Bella. If he didn't, she would be out on the street with the way she is acting toward him. He has given up his career for her because he loves her. She needs to forgive him and realize that Charlie made these choices.

its so sad that Charlie still has to spend two years in jail but atleast he didn't get anymore. so happy that Bella was able to kiss Edward. small steps are the best. i hope bella decides on the condo in edward's building. its will still give her the independence that she wants but like she said will give her the security blanket that she needs.
