I'm so very sorry to see this story end. You've crafted a very passionate and believable relationship between these two and I'm completely hooked on the affection and trust they share.
You write some powerful sex scenes -- very hot, but without losing the emotional connection between these two. I love how we got to see so many facets of their relationship, switching between playful and intense, emotional and lustful moments. The phone sex was scorching, but what made it really effective was Rossi's initial hesitation, that turned into desperate need.
As I said in my earlier review, I have never been happy with Penelope's choice of Kevin. Kevin as the rebound guy -- and the idea that Penelope isn't used to 'settling' at all with men -- makes a heck of a lot more sense. Yes, Penelope dons a protective coloration and can be quirky, but she is very lovely and vivacious, and you can't convince me that men aren't drawn to her beautiful heart and outgoing, loving nature. I'm a little in love with your Rossi myself, a beautiful, passionate man who recognizes treasure when he sees it and is so honest and comfortable in his own skin.
I'm sincerely hoping that somewhere in your other stories there is a continuation of this particular universe...or you consider one in the future ;)

I love that you pointed out specific things you liked. It means a lot that certain things resounded and stuck with you after reading it as well as during reading it. I think, no mater what I do, I will always come back to this couple. I don't know about revisiting this particular universe, we'll have to see what occurs. But, thank you for the review!

Lol. This is tantalizing. I love how confident she is in their mutual attraction. A bit sad that she might still have strong feelings for Kevin. I have never liked Kevin for Penelope I have to admit. Rossi just seems like the kind of man who sees true beauty.

And, I always thought Kevin was the 'easy' answer for Penelope. The relationship that was given between Kevin and Penelope always bothered me.
So, this has become my re-write of how I wish the plotline would have went.

Thank you so much for reviewing! I was so uncertain about this chapter as I had started the chapter when my computer went down. Then, by the time I got my computer back up and realized I had lost most of my timeline/canon facts for CM, I had a whole different feeling for the chapter.
