For the phrase : "Bonjour, vous êtes Mademoiselle Swan, oui?"
("Hello, you're Miss Swan, yes?")
I know in English at the end of a question you can say "yes". But in French you do not say "oui" ("yes") to the end of a question, rather you say "n'est ce pas?"
And uh ... Moira is not a name in French! XD and I've never met someone called like that. And Guy and Simone, they are very, very cheesy names here (in France)! So I don't think that even an adult called Guillaume ask to be called Guy. And if parents of a girl called Simone, oh I'm so sorry for her!!
So as I said if you're not French you can't know that! So it does not matter at all, but if you want to make your story realistic and modern do not hesitate if you research name used in France!

First things first, next time ask me where I get the names, it was kind of rude of you to just simply tell me that my choices were outdate, cheesy and you will feel sorry for someone named Simone. Just so you know, ALL the characters that aren't in the Twilight books are named after close friends of mine, friends that have encouraged me to write and supported me throughout the years, and I really don't care if their names are outdated. I liked their names, so I used them, end of.
About the line: "Bonjour, vous êtes Mademoiselle Swan, oui?"
I will correct that, this chapter was written before I got a pre-reader who could help me out on all things French, and since she was kind enough to ask me first about the names, I think I will stick with her.
