I dunno, maybe I'm just not that trusting but it feels like Elizabeth is playing Bella.  She turns the tears and sorrow on and off too easily.  If I'm reading it all wrong then I'll be glad to be proven wrong but a part of me thinks she really has an agenda.  I hope she doesn't cause trouble for or between Bella and Edward -- she scares me.  Like I said though, I fully admit that I could be wrong.  I hope Bella does tell Edward, that she decides to trust her man and not go against what works for them.  As long as the three of them (Bella, Edward and Eddie) are well though, that's pretty much all that matters to me.  

Oh wow, two sides to the story now.  Such a sad story too.  I am glad Edward did not have to hear it first hand.  Even if Bella recounts it when they're alone, she knows him best, she can gauge how he's feeling and reacting -- she'll be there for him and not colored by the emotions of the memories.

Poor Edward and Bella. Elizabeth should have stayed away. She is nothing but trouble. I feel for Esme, knowing this woman loves her husband and he loves her. Edward was right to stay away from the crazy lady. He has a new family. He does't need her.

Well, that meeting went well, I think. But, is the fur going to fly once Esme gets through the door? Can't wait to find out.

So great to get multiple chapters of this story. 

I expect there to be fireworks between Elizabeth and Esme. At least Esme tried to be pleasant, as to Elizabeth being a bitch to her. Esme had to good grace to overlook her though, wonder how long that will last before it blows.

I like that Elizabeth realizes she can't be Edward's mother, but hopes they can be friends... that's good but fucked up on so many levels.

Isn't one of the 12 Steps in AA to make a mends with those you've wronged in the past, shouldn't she be trying to make amends with Esme?

This dinner is about to get interesting, as well as the coming weekend.
