Oh no, please tell me you won't make Edward sterile! I don't think he would blame Bella if they couldn't have chikdren, but I don't know about other people, especially in that society. Don't do that to Bella please, as someone who can't have children it is an awful fate to watch everyone else have babies and knowing you cannot, and it would be even worst for Bella, because she would think she was the one at fault.
Well, Bella seems to know what she is doing, and the confrontation with the doc was awesome, Bella's backbone is back!
I'm worried about Edward, but seems he will be able to pull through, with Bella by her side. Can't wait to read what comes next!

Possibly directions.......take the goods Isabella makes and have them frequent town and the royals in a gradual manor until she is more comfortable in their presence.

.........finding a girl for Charles once he comes of age.
........definitely children in Isabella's future with Master Edward.
........Epilogue: Edward is now the Lord and Isabella grew to be a respected Lady of their lands. Helping a young destitute children?
So many different directions this could go.

I loved this chapter as well. Amazing how quickly the queen gave her approval. As for ideas to extend the story, I guess it depends on where it ends. Your suggestion of kids was great and I have read stories where we get to see so far into the future that we get to see their grandchildren.
