I love the 'old world' wording. They seem to mean so much more than the modern versions out there.

Oh I didn’t know weddings were to be in the morning but certainly before 3 pm.
Of course these days we don’t have “obey and serve” and rightly so but not so long ago wedding were never on a Sunday and women guests wearing black was a show of bad taste, even wearing the bridal party colours was thought to be not on. These days 75% of women show up in black dresses especially if it is after 5.
