This feels like the end of the story may be near. Edward feels older, somewhat removed from the life, as much as he can ever be. He talks about torches being passed for a reason....I loved the stuff in the desert between him and Aro, what with Edward playing around with Aro, about the snakes and scorpions and such...funny stuff....I'm glad they didn't kill Heidi's son. Looks like WIT SEC isn't all that good at keeping people alive....Thanks you for pushing through what life threw at you and giving us another marvelous chapter in this epic. I just discovered this series about a month ago and have really enjoyed them. I appreciate the efforts to make it realistic, dysfunctional and gritty - it would have to be, right? I wasn't sure how I'd feel about Riders, that was a large time jump, but hearing the kid's version of events has really helped shape the story and give us a more complete picture of what is going on in the lives of this family. Thank you for putting up with the bullies and writing the story you wanted to write. I hope you finish this one, I'll be checking back regularly to see if there is an update.

I have never felt sorry for Kylie before - the way she is written she seems not very smart and exceptionally unobservant. I would have never have guessed that she realized that she was so "watched". Sorry nothing original to say, but loved this chapter. I really am hooked on "Tribute" now but I was really missing this story and these characters.
I kinda cringed when Bella flipped out about Kylie going to Burger King but being a parent, been there done that, and no you don't want to take it back but you also don't want to drive your kid away or to do something you know they'll regret.
Skeezoid, was creeping me out too, more than creeping, I think I might a just been picking up on Bella's paranoia. But, I gotta say her instincts have kept her safe, especially in A.C. For all the wrong Carlisle has done I can't help but adore him, the way he jumps right up to be there for her and his family, well, maybe not Esme so much.

That was one monster chapter! There's a lot going on here. I'm happy that Sonny and Maggie are back on track, really glad to see it! Sometimes Kylie irritates me, what with being so whiny. I forget that she's been pampered and protected all her life. She doesn't get how much danger they could be in at times and just goes off on what she wants to do, like skipping out to Burger King while Bella is sleeping....It's ok. She will learn. She really is young! I wonder if Bella's radar was spot on and detected danger from Alistair. His calls on his cell were quite suspicious. The Rose and Emmett thing, their being emotionally distant these days, was hard to hear. I guess all couples can't be as close and Bella and The Skip are....

Reading what sonny was going through was tough and having the guys beat him was even tougher. But I know it's all part of the story.
