Awesome chapter. I'm so glad to see them slowly moving forward. Baby steps were taken and that is okay. They both started to communicate!!! It was only a little but it was good for a first time. They are both starting to realize that they are feeling things. Now we just need for them to realize that the other person is feeling those things too. It will come. As for Jake, can't wait until Edward finds out the truth there. Actually, I can't wait to see HOW he finds out. Does someone tell him?? Or, perhaps he sees something that will stop him dead in his tracks and say WTF!! Oh my, the possibilities. Absolutely love this story. Can't wait for the next chapter to see if these two can move things further along. The BBQ promises to be interesting.

I had to chuckle when Edward made the comparison to kissing his relative. Made me breath a sigh of relief. I agree. I'm glad Renee is the comforting, supportive parent in this one. It's like the relationship I have with my mom, so I can relate a lot to what Bella feels with her mom. Ok, so definately did not like the date with Tanya, but you are 100% right that it had to happen. He is not in any type of relationship and he thinks that Bella and Jacob are. I was surprised that Bella didn't balk more at the deal. I took that to mean that she was really desperate. Plus, she believes her attraction to Edward won't matter since he obviously (to her) finds her repulsive. Ironically, Edward is thinking the same thing.
The story with Corrine surprised me too. Bella has experienced quite a bit of life's trials and tribulations. It looks like Edward has a few lessons to learn.

I filed for divorce and submitted my resignation at the hospital. I had to thank my father for suggesting the pre-nup that I was originally against. I was able to put the house up for sale and auction off the contents, minus our personal possessions. Kate was only to get half of whatever the house sold for and her own shit. After I threatened her with telling everyone what she'd done, she backed off on contesting the divorce. I knew she wouldn't want any negativity about her getting out.
I walked back out to the dining room and stopped in my tracks. Standing next to Alice was the most gorgeous looking creature I had ever laid eyes on.
She had long, wavy brown hair, sparkling eyes, a beautiful smile and what looked like the world's best fitting, most perfect jeans. I had lost the ability to speak and quietly tried to back silently out of the room. Thanks to Alice, that didn't happen.
“Edward, I'd like you to meet Bella.” Alice smiled impishly. “Bella, this is Edward, our house guest.”

Okay -Review - Well needless to say sad, sad situation when a couple is not on the same page regarding children, and Kate was Never on the same Page as her husband, OBVIOUSLY, what a dang moron Kate was for keeping that crap. Sad, Edward... however, he has his life at this feet with such hope being introduced at the end of the chapter... Yea... Really looking forward to this... Especially given the local of the story... Yup a Phoenix East Valley reader here.... I know that your going to have lots in store, so will look very forward to those posts each week.
