Ah, so the guy is Edward's long lost best friend, Alec. I'm thinking this is going to help Edward with his screwed up head. It already sounded promising that Edward is concerned about what he did to Bella.
And Jasper is already settling in at the ranch so that seems to be promising for him and Bella considering they're voicing their love for each other.
That leaves Mary Alice, who got her licks in on Edward. Don't think that stand off is going to last. They were both looking hard at each other before she found out who he was.
Interesting deviation from the canon couples all the way around. I kind of wondered when Emmett was gay and Rosalie liked Carlise if we'd see other different pairings.
And Edward does need a new job.....

Dude!! hehe... I love reviews with feeling to them and this one certainly has that! I decided to go with the shorter chapters so that I could try to update more quickly, I'm sorry the new formatting is difficult for you, but we are all on a learning curve. Even I'm still trying to get used to how to navigate around here. As you said though, FF pissed off too many people... lol.
On Angela... it's cracking me up how many people want her to go down for this and are completely willing to overlook what Edward was doing with her. They are both adults, but he was the one in the position of authority and should've known better. In the bigger scheme, he needed to have this happen. He's gotten away with it for far too long so he had reached a point of not seeing anything wrong with it, by getting in trouble, it'll help him start realizing that this isn't the normal way to treat others.
On B/J... yes, this will be a non canon story but that doesn't mean that Bella won't have been part of Edward's healing... she's already done so much for him. The fact that he dismissed Angela the way he did showed that she was getting through to his inner conscious. Remember, Edward's not the only one broken here... Bella has her own issues, as does Jasper, Alice, and even Rose... I'm working towards getting them all sorted.
And third... lol, sorry for the cliffie... I didn't really think I was leaving one, but apparently I did because everyone is guessing way off. I'm working on the next chapter and will post as soon as it's ready. I do have 3 kids that are home for the summer right now, in addition to a bunch of other FF/FB obligations.
