Rose followed Bella out into the living room, her makeup kit in one hand. "Keep an eye on her, Jake. Don't let her wander off while I finish getting ready or she may decide to decorate her cheeks with eye shadow again."
The memory made Jacob smile. "I thought she looked pretty. The purple frog on her chin was a particularly lovely touch."
Bella had looked at the car in confusion and said, "Edwurr has car. Don't want. Give Paa car?" Though that hadn't been her intent, Bella's suggestion had wounded Esme and so Edward had felt compelled to accept it at that point.
She offered Bella a timid smile. "You look very pretty, Bella."
"Don't like," Bella said stoutly.
The building's door man opened the door of Bella's new car for them and they all piled inside. The back had two rows of seats that faced each other. Bella grimaced and poked at the leather seat. "Smell dead." Jacob supposed that trying to explain leather to a person from a culture that didn't use it would be rather difficult. Edward launched into an explanation in Quechua and Bella stared at the seat in horror, and then moved her stricken eyes to her shoes. She yanked them off of her feet and refused to put them back on. Jacob smothered a smile. Perhaps Bella would start a new, shoeless formalwear trend. (Replicas of her gold anklet had already started to show up in fashion magazines, according to Rose.)
Seeing his obvious distress, Bella elbowed her way through the knot of people and stamped her bare foot. "Shoo!"
Bella let people speak to Edward until he started to look uncomfortable, then she would imperiously lift an arm and order them to "Shoo!" The startled guests did as commanded, exchanging amused glances as they drifted away.
A splash and gasps told Jacob where Bella had disappeared to. He groaned and surged to his feet. Edward had apparently been chasing after her and he froze helplessly on the edge of the pool, staring down at his wife's wavery form at the bottom. He lifted panicked eyes to meet Jacob's. Bella might stay down there too long. Jacob didn't hesitate. He dove in, and swam down to her. Bella smiled and waved at him. Jacob's sigh went up in bubbles. He took hold of her arm and pulled her to the surface.
"Biiig wash," Bella noted thoughtfully. "Cold wash, no foam."
She looked at Bella with a small, wry smile. "Couldn't help yourself, could you, darling?"
Bella grinned at her and Esme chuckled softly before going off in search of Angela.

Its only temporary. I'll resume posting at FFN as soon as the deletions die down. I don't want to pust an A/N because it weould 1) put my story on the updated list, where they look for new targets and 2) it would give them as REASON to hit me becaus chapters that are just A/Ns are a violation of the rules.
I put a note on my profile and I've been trying to keep info on Twitter, Facebook and my blog page.
This too, shall pass. Soon, I'll be able to go back to posting as normal.

This version is very different from the other one. It seems more......I don't know what the proper word would be. I like this erosion better and not so much for the pairing as I thought, the characters in a way just seem more developed or I guess "human." sorry if it doesn't make sense.

The people who were causing the "issues" admitted that they watch the first couple of pages of updates for new targets. I thought it prudent just to lay low for a while, but I will resume posting the story over there when it seems safe again.

Sorry I scared you. I tried to get the word out on Facebook, Twitter and my blog. (I wish FFN had a feature where you could send out a mass e-mail to all of your readers/subscribers.)
I'm holding off on updating over at FFN until all of the chaos dies down. I don't think any of my stuff violates the TOS, but I've heard of stories being deleted because their titles sounded like they might be risque, etc., and the people who've cause all of this mess admit that they watch the update lists for new targets. So, I'm going to hold off for a little while, just to be on the safe side.

It is a long time I wanted to ask something. Bella drinks from Edward (no venom evidently-how does on become a vamp here?9. but, she is also drinking quite a lot, appartently and frequently. Shouldn't he be affected by the blood loss?

Yes, I'll post the new chapter over at FFN after all of the fuss dies down. The people causing thie turmoil admitted that they watch the updates for new targets, so I'm just lying low for a while until things go back to normal.
In my version of vampires, one can only become a vampire by drinking the blood of a vampire. T have a Q & A set up on my blog that gives more details.
As for Edward's blood loss, he should be perfectly fine. Bella doesn't need very much at her age and as long as Edward remained hydrated and well-fed, his body should replace the loss very quickly. An iron deficiency is possible, so he should probably take supplments to be on the safe side. During WWII, some troops donated weekly. In the modern days, many states have laws about how often a person can donate. (And Bella takes less than the Red Cross does!)

Wow! WTH just happened? So much turmoil! Hard to believe that one picture could make Esme automatically believe the worst! Alice is really hair-triggered and volatile with her emotions. Must be exhausting experiencing/interpreting everything in the extremes!Wish at some point she could see the truth behind what Jacob said and settlw down. Sad she would just dump her kids.
