I'm so scared that he is going to stay away until late in the pregnancy or even after the babies are already born. That would be so horrible for Bella, not to mention the guilt Edward would feel, if she has to go through childbirth alone.
Again, I understand logically why Edward wants Tanya to move into his home. I still don't like it though. Poor Bella. It really is seeming like Edward cares more for Tanya than Bella. He goes to see her in the hospital and invites her to move in with him (doesn't matter that he physically won't be there) but ignores his wife. :( Bella seems to be more understanding about things though so she probably won't be upset over it. I would be furious and beyond hurt though knowing your husband is being supportive to his (fill in the blank) while ignoring me.
If codependency is a concern then wouldn't that still be an issue with everyone moving in with the Cullen's?

I'm concerned for Alice and Jasper. Alice knows nothing of other people, but that's all she wants right now. I don't think Bella would be upset about Tanya. She knows Edward isn't there and that Tanya has no where else to go really.

I hate that Edward is making assumptions and once again making decisions for Bella. They'll never make it until he sees her as an equal and talks to her allowing HER to have a say in her own life instead of him forcing his will on her. Granted he has good intentions, but still ...
I want to shake all of them because you can hear Edwards comments about Bella and the baby and his assumption that she had an abortion. While to others it sounds like he is acknowledging her desire to keep the pregnancy. He's going to feel like an idiot once he realizes. I wonder who will realize first that Edward is going on the assumption that there in no longer a baby. I hope it's Emmett. Bella laid into Emmett and set him straight so I hope he is able to return the favor.
I really will scream if Edward goes and offers Tanya comfort while she is dealing with PTSD yet leaves Bella abandoned because he is convinced she is 'confused' and therefore he knows better. Grr.
Poor Tanya. What a horrible nightmare. I was gritting my teeth praying it was in fact a nightmare. I'm surprised the girls are being left alone though. You would think they would have round the clock security going.
How long do you intend to keep Edward and Bella apart? Real time wise as well as chapter wise? For that matter how many chapters do you see the rest of the story having?

No Tanya/Charlie... he's with Renee. But he is a cop, and cops protect. He does have an attachment to her. Edward is so messed up in the head, he's not thinking straight.
And as far as being left alone, someone is in the hall between their rooms at all times. They are not alone, but also, no one is going to come and get them in the hospital.
You asked how long they will be apart, it's quite a while, but just like the time jump from when she found out she was pregnant till they left the island, it will jump again. I don't know how many chapters are left. I'm really sorry. I could summarize and make it just a few, or give more details. We will all have a hea though :)

Yes back to the island. There are tons of law inforcement there (not gonna get rekidnapped there or anything) I know lots of people who want retrobution for it. I hope to eventually write a story about that.... Alice and the baby are fine.
Actually they aren't going to go after the father of Bree's baby. It would tip them off to where the baby is. Keeping her safe is more important than punishment for them. Plus, legally, he might get her back. It's his word against Bree's and Bree had a troubled past.
Edward does need help, but he's not hearing any of it.

Edward is an emotional wreck, but is gonna try to handle it himself. He really doesn't think that Bella thinks of herself as his wife. He knows exactly how his grandmother felt about Aro after she had been forced to mary him. Edward feels that he's the same. He knows in his heart that he loves Bella, and that she turned to him, but he's much more convinced that he failed her, and Tanya and Alice. Will he come around????? Sure, it will just take some time. The good news, I won't let the story drag on while he does. I'll only tell u guys the good parts. Hope u can forgive Edward.

Loved this chapter. Why the heck did Edward take off. They've all suffered so much trauma, they need each other. Please don't let Edward & Bella fall apart after doing so much to protect each other.
Scared to think of what James is doing out there.

DUDE! I wrote a book between those lasts posts... and now I'm publishing it. I'm trying sooo hard...
OK, so edward left because of guilt. It happens real life all the time when there is a traumatic event and one spouse feels responsible. I'll work on it when im on vacation next week

Wonderful chapter. They all have a lot to get a handle on now that they are back to their families and friends. Edward and Bella have got to start talking to each other. Can't wait for more.
