Hmmm, what's Carlisle up to?  Web site alerts for what?

I'm so glad that Carlisle and Edward talked got things back on track and also that Edward and Esme were able to clear the air.  Esme was right a while back when she said that Edward was too old for Lauren, it's not in age but definitely in maturity and the way in general that Edward conducts himself.  It's going to take time but I'm sure eventually Lauren will be able to accept Edward as Carlisle's partner.

Oh Lauren, you silly, silly girl (I'm starting another theme, lol).  The mind can be a magical place but it can also be the cruelest place.  How long has Lauren been bullied at school?  That's all I can think that she meant when she said it didn't matter what the girls said about her and that Edward kept her safe.  Now a baby or is her body playing tricks with her?  It's possible that all the stress has caused all her symptoms unless, of course, she's done a test.

There are decisions to be made here but Lauren needs to understand that there's nothing that can't be put right and no situation that can't be made the best of.  That last part sounds so crass, but if she really is pregnant, then she has to decide what she wants to do.

I'm glad that Edward's Mum said what she did about wanting Edward to be happy and that she'd get to know Carlisle.  He would have been heartbroken if he lost his Mum over his choice of relationship.

Who said that?  Was that Esme talking to Elizabeth?  I know Elizabeth has a lot of revelations to get her head around, but I hope she comes round soon.  She has to let Edward make his own mistakes, not that this is, but she has to learn to let go and trust that Edward's knows what he wants.  He's a grown man now and he definitely knows what he wants.  It almost seems like she's pushing Edward to the side and reinforcing with Emmett and Rosalie what a 'normal' relationship should be.

I wish that either Carlisle or Edward would say something about how lonely they are without the other.  This is such a new relationship and in a strange way they should still be at the stage of 'should I keep calling him, should I text him, I want to be with him all the time, will he think I'm being pushy?' but because of all they've been through they are way beyond that and it seems right that they should be talking about moving in together even though they've only been together a few weeks.  Does that make sense?  I know what I mean, lol.

Oh, and that bar lemon........they well and truly squeezed the juice out of that one, phew!

Poor Esme, she's always the last person to know what's going on.  I'm sure that she'll start to dread Carlisle's visits as he always seems to be bringing more bad news of what their daughter has been up to.  What else could possibly be prompting Lauren to act this way?  Is it some sort of personality disorder, or is she simply unable to live in the real world?  I definitely think she could use some help especially after the way Esme said she'd been behaving.

I'm glad that Esme already accepts Edward and his relationship with Carlisle, I think it will put Edward more at ease knowing that she's not going to attack him on sight for everything thats happened. Lol.

Oh my God!  After such a perfect and relaxing time away they come home to a message like that.  I suppose that was the ringing phone that was heard before they left.  I suppose it's not going to be as simple as the fact that Edward wasn't Carlisle's patient and that Lauren is acting like a jealous, petty little girl who'll seem to stop at nothing to destroy her Dad's happiness and try to get Edward back.  What part of 'it's over' does she not understand?

How low is Lauren going to stoop?  I know she's hurting but this is seriously going too far.  It's a good job that Carlisle knows the truth but still this must really hurt hm that his own daughter would play games like this with someone's life.  Now, as Edward said, she's hurt her Dad and herself with her actions.  Girls are bitchy and only true friends will understand and forgive her actions, the rest of them will rip her apart visciously.

What are they all doing in a bar anyway, I was under the impression that the legal drinking age in the US is 21?

Awww, their date was perfect and Edward got to play the piano.  It looks as though Demitri and Irina approve of Edward, just a bit, hahaha.  Please let Edward get his memory back soon.  I'm sure that when he said it hurts he wasn't just talking about physical pain but also the pain of not being able to remember the time he's spent with Carlisle.  Although, when he does remember, he might want to forget certain parts of it again, lol.

Okay, I take back what I said about Lauren and maturity.  Carlisle's right that Lauren's playing a dangerous game with Edward's memory.  She's hurt and she's being very silly and she's only going to be more hurt by playing this game.

Thank God Edward's going to be alright, I don't think Carlisle would have been able to cope if he'd lost him even though it's only been a couple of days they have such a connection which Edward is aware of though he doesn't remember.  I'm not sure how right Carlisle was to answer Edward's question but I'm glad he did.

Rose and Emmett have met, hehe, I get the feeling Emmett will be moving in to Edward's room for the foreseeable future.

Oh my God!  Trust Lauren to turn up at her Dad's house.  I was wondering at the end of the last chapter and the beginning of this how Carlisle would react to the fact that he's unwittingly fallen for his daughter's boyfriend.  Whether he would be of the same mind as Edward and want to forget the whole thing or if he'd want see where this new relationship with Edward would lead and risk losing his daughter.

I think the only thing that Lauren can take from this to console herself is that Edward realised he's gay and did the right thing by breaking it off with her.  It's going to take time for her to get her head around it all and get over it.  I don't think I've said this but, poor Lauren I really do feel sorry for her.

As a huge J/E fan I wasn't really sure I could read Edward with Carlise. I'm happy to report I was so wrong.These boys are so hot and this  chapter was sweet and hot as hell.
