Thanks for the review. The funny thing about this little story is that as I wrote it, in my head, it was all about Jasper. Bella was obviously the reason he was there to do this, but he was always my focus.

That may have been dark and sad, but it was beautiful in it's darkness. If this was the route that New Moon would have taken, I couldn't find a better way of writing it. I'm so glad that you put the last scene in there. It's what I pictured would happen as I was reading. It may have made me cry more in that one scene than the rest of the story, but the build up to it probably helped.
Wonderfully written, but now I have to hunt down some tissues....

Stunningly, hauntingly beautiful! This is the Jasper we know. A man of honor, depth and deep commitment to those he loves. And Bella is one of them. I especially loved that Bella was looking on as Jasper cared for her remains and her wishes for him and for Alice. Truly, truly touching!
