I just realized while reading this chapter why I love it so much...aside from the E&B, falling in love, frickin' adorable together thing. They are both strong characters! I love when both are strong & supportive of each other. Neither one dominates or is constantly being saved, they just go well together. It makes it easy to read and picture, and just enjoy. Of course, it probably helps that you write them so well! So - thank you for creating them the way you did/do and sharing them with us. I always look forward to this story as it's one of my favorites! I can't seem to get enough.

Rose really knows, how to ruin the fun and get to know each other with her sceptism.
If Bella and Edward come clean now about their plan, she would see herself confirmed, that their relationship is nothing but a fake.
But somehow they have to tell their family. But perhaps Bella and Edward can change the date, when they have met through the add. I mean they could tell everybody, that the inital idea was this, that Edward was searching for a "fake-fiancee" through an add, but it was long before the actual vacation (not just a week or so before ?) and during their time for dating, they got to know eacht other and somehow fell in love!
That would perhaps earn some romantic-points in the eyes of Esme and Alice and perhaps also of Rose.

It was through SVM that I found ff. To be honest I was getting so ticked with CH and AB that I haven't even finished last year's book or last season's True Blood. I suppose I should do that first to avoid spoilers.

Oh, the ring. *sigh* It's not nearly as dramatic as everyone seems to think. ;) It's really just because they didn't think he'd give her anything other than his grandmother's ring. There's a story behind that which will come out as the story unfolds.
