Awesome cliffhanger! Maddening, but awesome. You've done a really good job with Bella and Edward's relationship. The reader can almost feel them sensing their way along their relationship at this point. It's realism at its best. It's also nice to see Bella's relationship with Jasper shift. He could be a strong ally. Thank you also for promising a quick follow-up chapter. My curiousity is running amuck. Once more, this remains my favorite story out there now. Not only can I see a "book", but I can practically see scenes from a movie! Kidos!!!

Middlebury College is a very prestigious private school... and very expensive. The campus is lovely and it's a standing joke that (from where I live in NH) "you can't get them from here" you have to go way south to go north to get there around the mountains.
Dartmouth is only about 10 miles from Hartford VT, across the bridge into NH. It's an Ivy League college also private and very expensive.
I like how Bella is fiesty, and that Edward likes it when she is. I can't wait to see what's in the box and the story Emmett has to share.

that was a hell of a chapter. my heart goes out to bella. i am glad she has edward and his family. miscarriage are hard and it all depends on the person i think. i had one after my first child. my cousin was pregnant at the same time. so man did it hurt when she would complain or had the baby because i just had a broken heart. noone knows why it happens but we all feel as if we did something to cause it. i hope bella take s edward's advice and stays off her feet and lets the family help. i think rose talking with her helped. i know bella had a life altering expierence but i hope she sees that as edward says things will get better. they will get through this tough time. she needs to feel the pain and cry and come to terms with it and then i hope she is able to maybe settle down and try to take in the quirky little town and see what it has to offer. it surely has alot of good people in its town. and a great family that just might be her's or at least wants to help her expierence what it feels like to belong. heartbreaking, love it

Wow - another fantastic chapter! I cried for Bella's grief over losing the baby, but I think it's going to be better for her in the long run. Oh, poor Bella! I had a feeling this was coming. I hope Edward will help her through this. I loved Emmett in this chapter. His level of compassion was so touching. Michele, I love your long chapters. You give us so much character development that we come to feel like we really know them personally. This story has come to mean just as much to me as People Like Us did. I just want you to know I love your long chapters. They allow the reader to really become invested in your characters and what is happening to them. It also helps ease the sting of the cliffies. I am excited that it looks like Edward is going to find out about the baby, I hope she doesn't lose it. Alice is a sneaky one and I love that she changed the prices on the clothes so that Bella wouldn't feel like it was charity. I can only imagine how it broke Emmett's heart to find out about how Bella lived. I have a feeling that they will be good friends. I did miss Brady proclaiming his devotion to his Belle this chapter.

Really?? Huge ass chapter would be exactly what I'd want!!
I'm assuming miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy? I feel bad 'cause I think Bella will be embarrassed & afraid they won't want her there after they find out. But.....then again, this baby, while innocent, wasn't wanted & essentially a product of rape.
