ahhhh edward is there now for bella. i do not find bella weak in any way. nor that she can not take care of herself and haven. but she does have a husband now and child and it is nice that she has another choice. but i knew bella could still handle her own. i love that she is a strong women and she loves her man and edward accepts her.
i printed this story and read it today and absolutely love it. i love that bella doesn't take crap from noone. i love that she cuts the hair of the whores that go after her husband. she has fire and determination. she is loyal to those she knows. everyone loves her

Riley wouldn't let things be so easiy. He is a greedy man who will try different roads to get what he wants. Court is getting ready. They need to play it safe and carefully for now. But as it's said, it's a good idea to have your enemies close, real close.

We now have some more information on why both families want to call Haven Keep theirs, there's a legend, which probably holds some truth by the way Edward reacted to the poem Bella told him. Maybe Edward will be telling us his part next chapter.
I'm having a tough time with the fact that even as happy as they seem, Bella will be leaving Edward after their honeymoon is over. She cares for him, deeply, and is hurt even more because of her love. As for Edward, he will have to try something... what?
Couldn't they both live at Haven Keep? Just wondering...

Bella surprised me. She is sad, there's no doubt on that and the reason for it is clear. She said, right from the start, she would marry Edward, no matter what. That keeps surprising Edward though, he was certain she wouldn't marry him. That would have beene asier for him to handle than knowing she won't be near him unless it's strictly necessary. She is keeping her word entirely. She was able to smile and comfort Edward, how can she? It has to be painful to do so and to smile on a wedding day that doesn't bring her the joy she had hoped and dreamt of.
As for Eward, his conscience is making him suffer for his reckless actions. His words haven't been enough to get Bella to move past what happened. I wonder what else he can do and who is going to help him do so.

The consequences to Edward's actions are bigger than anyone could have expected. Yes, he was set up, but he could have done something to stop what was going on. He should be stronger, I'm guessing he will be working on that.
As for Bella, she had told him she wouldn't allow something like this, and even if he was trapped, as she said, it doesn't change his actions.
Bella was upset and wanted to be alone for a while, she never imagined she could be in danger with her actions. Maybe if she knew she would have waited for her men to go with her, maybe not. For now she has to recuperate.
How long will it take Edward to try and fix things? A long time I'm guessing.

See, that's what Bella thought, too. He knew he was wrong when he was doing it, but hoped he wouldn't get caught. Bella knew it was irresponsible to leave as she did and that it would take several minutes for her men to catch up. But she's young and though she is mature for her age, she was hurt and made a stupid decision.
We'll have to see how long it take for Edward to fix things.

Yes, that's true, but such was the way of royals. Neither Edward nor Bella had an expectation of love. The best they hoped for was mutual respect, thought when Bella found out she was to marry Edward, she wasn't very hopeful of that. Wait until you get to the consummation of the marriage. That may freak you out. I have read enough histories to know that in many cases, the consummation was done the way I chose.
