Love that she is getting closer to Charlie. Hope he and Sue get together sooner rather than later. aww for her and Morgan bonding over the pack. Glad she is "living" and not just going backwards. Great end.
This is my least favorite of the series book wise, but I'm glad you changed it enough for me to have a better opinion of your story.

Do you explain anywhere a bit more about Edward's gift?
Originally his range is a few miles, I think, and he hears everything at once within that range, though he can focus to listen to a particular mind out of all the buzz, and if he hears his name thought, it always calls his attention.
In your story it seems that he can listen in on Carlile and Esme's thoughts in France while he is in the US? How does that work?

I probably don't explain it right no. If I do it's in the first book. But basically if it's someone who he's attached to (family) he can read their minds whenever he wants to. Otherwise it's just the area hes in. I'll have a chapter in this book where he goes into detail about it

This was a pretty heavy chapter, with the Clearwater's accident, Sam obviously imprinting on Emily and Edward sharing some of his love for Bella with Carmen. I hope the ache in his dead heart gets so bad he's forced to go back and throw himself on Bella's mercy, hoping she takes him back. Man, I wish he wasn't so damn stubborn and sure he's always right!

For a change, Bella is almost having an easier time alone than Edward is. He'a mess, killing and feeding off his kills. I'm glad he finally realized it was taking a toll on him and went back to hunting animals. No matter how busy these two keep themselves, it will do no good. Their souls will only find peace together, and the sooner they realize that, the sooner they'll be happy again.
