My thinking behind Charlie's reason for keeping quiet are it would be hard to tell his only child he's dying, he's trying to take the easy way, but yes you're right the added stress for the baby would be bad. Thanks for your positive review, I do appreciate it.

However, two really minor things I want to point out. The story title is listed as being A Thorough Investigation, but the banner says A Thorough Examination. Was that intentional?
Also, I think you might have clicked on the wring rating. It's listed as being a "T" rated story and I think it should be "M".
Nothing major, just thought I'd point it out. I really did enjoy the story and the ending was very cute.
