Well what an awesome chapter, I pretty much had tears in my the whole chapter. I get that Edward lied and I get that he broke her trust and I understand everything. But this whole thing with Emmett still ticks me off. How could he claim to be her friend and then say the things he said in the last chapter only to turn around in this chapter and say the things he said to Edward. He's a hipocrite, And Things could get really nasty for him if Bella actually ever comes clean and tells the real reason why she left Edward and tells ppl what Emmett said to her. Which at this point I really, really, really hope she does and someone slaps the shit outta Emmett and Edward and Bella move past this issue.

I had to take a day's break before writing this. When I saw the chapter summary at the top, my heart filled with dread. I thought maybe you were going to kill one of them off. But you killed their relationship! You know how vested I am in this story, I feel sometimes like it's really happening! (Silly me.)
Anyhow, very shocking, everything that happened. Now that I'm calmer, I can see how all the ruckus happened, and why the characters acted as they did - sorta. I must admit, I am REALLY surprised by Emmett's over-reaction. Bella has always been his sister-from-another-mother. I would have thought that he would have been SO worried about Bella, especially since she had been out cold for so long. His vitriolic comments to Bella were way out of line. I wonder how the aftermath is going to play out, because I can't see Bella, Edward, or Alice forgiving him easily for that.
I finally can see why Bella reacted as she did, not standing up for herself, and letting Emmett's comments affect her. She's been hurt herself, her boyfriend's just had complicated surgery, and she's all upset and confused. But what the heck is she doing? She's got her clothes on. Is she leaving the hospital? Where is she going to go? Is she planning on hiding out? Not going back to school in the fall? She left a note for Charlie, and for Edward (who will not be happy at all when he reads it!), so where is she running away to? I really, REALLY can not wait until the next update. So glad you said it might be next weekend. Thanx for this reading anguish and turmoil!

Ok I have to admit I really had no clue as to what was going to happen. I'm sure if I really tried I could have had an idea but I was too busy just reading that I wasn't trying to figure it out. I want to cry after reading this chapter. This is certainly a side of Emmett that I've never seen. He's always so brotherly with Bella that him being the one to go off on her was surprising, but I guess if it was going to be anyone Emmett is a good choice. I couldn't see Alice doing it.

Edward and the fish - so funny! i am surprised, tho, that as much as he went camping w/Carlisle and Emmett he didn't know how to hold on to a fish!
Didn't really like Bella getting snotty about the rain. Good thing she recognized her bitchiness and apologized.
I like a good love story, but this one is getting way too sappy. Please don't let the entire time Edward is on his job hunt end in long phone conversations where they say "I love you" to each other endlessly. And I'm not sure I'm looking forward to Bella's romantic idea. Again, too much sap for me. (Just MY opinion, sorry if I offend anyone else.)
And when are we going to learn why Edward is having heart problems???

I've been to Hawaii multiple times because my family owns 2 2 week timeshares in Waikiki. We go every year, usually in the summer. Although its never enough, haha. I must have hundreds of pictures just of the sunsets and water, it's so clear. Plus I've tried Idk how many times to try to get a picture of a turtle popping it's head out of the water. I thought Emmett was going to propose not just a promise. As for the "snow cones", that was just funny as all hell. There really is a huge difference between real Hawaiian shaved ice and snow cones or even some other kind of shaved ice. It melts in your mouth like ice cream without the cream part. Although there is something called a "snow cap" that they put cream on top of the shaved ice that makes it even better.
Ah damn now not only do I want a shaved ice but I want to go to Hawaii to get it.

Since I really haven't reviewed for this story yet I felt I could put one in for this chapter. I really like the personalities of the characters in this story. It may just be because it is more outlandish but it seems like Bella has so much more personality and attitude in this one. I love that she speaks her mind and the background in her story that she is kind of the "bad girl" with her tats and past activities. It gives new spice to the story. I also love Bree! I know I should have said that earlier when he was introduced but I was too caught up into the story to stop to review.
Last thing I'm going to say...I love the movie references! I live by referencing movies and TV shows, so the fact that the characters in the story do to make it so easy to be caught up in it.

I too live by refrenecing movies and TV shows so I just had to toss that in there. My little part of myself in this story. I wanted it to be "real", with real problems that we all face every day. They still have some things easier than the rest of us, but for the most part, they have to get their ownselves out of trouble when they get in it, just like we do.
I understand completely about you not being able to stop to review. The story sucks me in when I read over chapters all the time. Glad you love Bree. He is a fun, strong character and I have a great time writing him in.

I have to say that I absolutely LOVE this story! I have been glued to the computer for a few days now with my nose buried in this story. So much to the point that I had to take my laptop with me to a friends so I wouldn't miss out on reading it. ^__^ I have to say, that the way you handled the Houston situation with Emmett was hilarious! I live in Texas, just an hour outside of Houston, and when I first moved here I was shocked at how everyone acts. You nailed it to a T. Texans are certainly in their own little world. Now...I'm severely hoping that you get better and your arm heals as quickly as possible, because before I even started to read this chapter, I was already going into withdraws of my WTB fix. This is definitely one story, just like I was with reaching the end of Breaking Dawn, that I'm dreading the end of it. Only because I'm not going to want it to ever end. Sorry about your arm - hope it's not too painful for you.
I was really struck by the intense feelings Bella was revealing about being a Mom. At the beginning of this story, it seemed she was so totally resigned to not ever having that, that she was beyond thoughts about it. To see her tell Edward about her longings...what a change! It's been a pleasure seeing her grow and change during this story.
Love the Alice-Bella time! You know that's a favorite of mine!
Very curious to see where you are going to take the story now. But boy met girl, boy romanced girl, boy is in love with girl, girl is in love with boy... Please don't end it here! Still need to find out about Stella!

Don't worry the story is not ending! And the truth about Stella will be coming out shortly. Bree was floored by the knowledge and even managed to fall in love with Emmett a little more.

Loved the chapter, just found your story and I'm up late hating the fact that I really need to stop and go to bed. The one thing that is irritating me the most about this chapter is that Bella should have called Edward on 'forgetting" her on the porch. I know in your note you explained his reaction, but either she should have stayed out there, or interrupted an said excuse me can I come in. All of them, Edward, Karen, and her sister should have had to acknowlage what asses they were (intentional or not it was rude). And then it would have been fine when they apologized and included her in the conversation. I'm pissed that he criticized Bella for not speaking and yet never acknowledged that he never even introduced her or knew if she was there. I can't get over that infractions even more than being pissed at the shittiness of Mary and Jason.

Welcome aboard!! So glad you found WTB. I've been on both sides of the porch issue so I know where both E and B are coming from. Especially E since it never occured to him B would be intimidated in the least. He's never seen that side of her before. And as stupid and manly of him as it was, when she got mad, he got mad. But that's the way things sometimes go when the relationship is new and the two are learning about each other. The good thing is that they didn't let it fester between them for long.

Alice isn't trying to be a pain at all. She's just really close to Bella and was scared out of her mind. Bella will make sure her best friend and boyfriend are both okay with the big change in dynamics.

Poor Bella - how much that all must hurt! Honestly, tho, I also thought (as I have read other reviewers think) that maybe Bella was pregnant. I was also hoping maybe since this happened the new doctor would find a way to fix her. But I really do like your way, with Charlie easing her mind. There's so many women out there that can't have babies, and people need to remember that it doesn't mean they are broken.
I also get a kick out of strong Bella calling Charlie "Daddy". It seems so congruous to her personality. She called him that once before, in a previous chapter, and I kinda thought it was a typo. Glad to see it's wasn't. 22 is really that old.
I really do feel bad for Alice. She took care of Bella thru all previous bouts of "women problems", and she was so awesome in the early chapter when Bella had problems. I was kind of mad at Edward for pushing her out and taking over. I am SO glad that Bella took the effort to acknowledge Alice's efforts in this. I do know that if I had been Alice, the arguments would've been much louder, and I don't know if I would have been able to let Edward do it, no matter if he is the boyfriend.
Awesome chapter - can't wait for next week's update. Kudos to your talent, and thanx for the reading enjoyment!

I really liked hearing Rose's POV. It provided such neat extra background info about Bella. It was nice to see what was happening with others on the trip, not just Bella and Edward (altho they are my fave two!)
I am looking forward to them getting home - home to Forks. So much has gone on with Bella and Edward that, even tho they still telephone their families, I'd really like to see some 1:1 interaction - especially between Bella and Esme.

You have to keep in mind that every single time Alice can find something to say about it, she does. And Bella has asked on numerous occasions for Alice to stop as soon as Bella asks her to the first time. Bella doesn't want to talk about any of this stuff because she's sick and tired of things that work for others not working for her. The whole situation frustrates her and hurts so she'd prefer not to talk about it all. But Alice being Alice can't do that. Bella does try very hard to keep in mind that Alice only does it out of love, but sometimes, you just can't take anymore.
