Ok, I know that I'm reading this long after it was finished and won't get any real time input, but I have to say this. I have been trying to understand the logic behind this but just can't. Why is he the villain for trying to protect her from his heart problem and she is not for trying to protect him by leaving? Should he have told her? Yes, absolutely. But he had what he thought at the time were good reasons. She chose to believe his brother's rant and left him at such a critical point in his life instead of talking to him. She also thought her reasons were good. She claims he didn't trust her to tell her about his heart. She didn't trust him to tell him about Emmet's words and stay to work that out. Why does she get to be the wronged party here? She messed up, too. Yeah, she was hurt. Wasn't he? She left by leaving a ridiculously casual note, basically dismissing their whole relationship and now gets to be the one who calls all the shots. Bella agrees to give him another try? What Bella needs to do is accept her huge part in this mess and stop playing the only injured party. This guy deserves sainthood in my opinion.

I'm sorry that's the message you took from it. It wasn't just lying about his heart that put Edward in the position of needing to earn back trust. It was every lie he told to hide his secret. It was pushing her to be honest while he knew he was lying. He even went so far as to lie about what he would be doing for almost an entire summer away from her and the rest of his family. It was months of deceit that put him in the position of needing to prove himself. As for Bella, she cannot be faulted for believing Emmett when he never once lied to her in all the years of their friendship. He knew Edward better than she did in her opinion so he would know what drove Edward to lie for months. She left out of love and respect for Emmet and the entire Cullen family just as much to make sure Edward was out of harm's way. And she did accept her part in things - she agreed to go to counseling with Edward and she participated and learned to both be a better listener and speaker. No one deserves sainthood in this story because no one is perfect. They are all flawed and all make mistakes - and they all try their hardest to remedy those mistakes and make amends. The story isn't about one person being less wrong than another - it's about accepting that we all screw up and finding a way to forgive ourselves as much as the loved ones who accidentally hurt us.

don't you normally eat your fries with mayo in the us? Is it so out of there that it ended up being a craving in your story, which others find digusting? Becausae I have to tell you it ist perfectly normal here in Germany and I know it also is in beglium, the netherlands and france´, for the rest of europe i am not completely sure, but i can'T imagine it didn't travel another border.
Personally i happen to like peanut butter and banana, arent ther muffins in this combination out there.

In my part of the US, we usually have ketchup. I had never seen anyone eat them with mayo until my sis got pregnant - that part was for her bc she was actually pregnant when I wrote that chapter. Cool that it's normal in your part of the world!!

I really like this Bella in that she's strong. But, I'm not happy that Edward and Alice railroaded her into doing something that she's clearly uncomfortable with and Emmett and Rosalie just stands around making fun. I dislike it when they do this. Bella should be able to say no to things without her friends getting on her ass or making her feel guilty about the fact that she doesn't want to do it and her friends should respect that when she says "no" it means she doesn't want to and when she says that she's uncomfortable with it they should respect that not pander to her telling her it will be fine and she'll thank them later.

I have thought alot about that as well. That would also be a good outtake for you to write...what was going through Emmetts mind from when he found out about the accident to when Bella left and no one knew why especially him. Emmett is a hoot before the accident and I loved him even though he was mean to Ed. I still don't know if I understand why he was the way he was to Ed or not besides the Mary situation. But when he was talking to Bella like that I was seething and felt sorry for once in my whole time reading fanfic for Bella. I knew it had to be something that set him off and when we didn't read anything about his reactions to other family members like jasper when he was trying to get it out of her or Rose when she did talk to her, I knew no one suspected anything like that could have happened and Em being the culprit either cause Em was sincere in his temporary amnesia during that time. Am I making any sense at at? Hope. Love the story!

Sometimes there's no easy, concise answer for sibling rivalry - I am still searching for an answer with my nieces LOL. Yeah, no one ever suspected Em was behind Bella pulling away. Hell, he didn't suspect it because he didn't remember talking to her. But like Alice said, somewhere deep down he had to suspect b/c he never attempted to talk to Bella.

It's funny how much underlying foreboding I could pick up in this chapter since I knew what was wrong with Edward. Seeing just how much Emmett teased him and how it affected him. Even with this last scene where he says that Emmett would tease him about being tired out, just makes me want to smack Emmett. I'm not saying Edward wasn't wrong in keeping it from everyone, but with how everything played out, plus the hard feelings for what Emmett did to Bella, he is not totally innocent in it either.

I was so excited when I saw this posted. It's nice to get a look into what Edward was thinking and feeling during that first chapter but also it was like a blast from the past in the story. It was like reliving the beginning of their relationship but now with the knowledge of what happens afterward.
There were points where I had to think and remember what happened in the beginning, like what Bella and Alice were talking about when they went off by themselves before Edward brought Bella's drink over.
I hope there will be at least a couple more outtakes. I'm having attachment issues with this story and the little outtakes here and there help keep my clingy side to a minimum.

There will definitely be some more outtakes. We are working on the First Date from Edward's POV right now. Then we are going to have a couple chapters with the babies, like when Emmett and Bella really start to work things out. We also *hope* to have the first Halloween with the babies. Ooo! Interesting! They really seem to be working things ot. And they're taking their time but to be honest Emmett and Alice are pissing me off more than Edward and Bella with their presumptions and the way they're being so careful incase they screw up again! Theres a few times in the past couple of chapters that Alice has done or said something, like when she unlocked Bellas bedroom door and walked in,that I just wanted to scream and slap her! And Emmett with all his comments towards Edward, wow what a dick! I mean it was years ago and its not like Edward did anything on purpose, its not his fault the girl wanted him and not Emmett. Ok, i think Ive talked enough about that.
But overall Im loving the story! Its really well written! The storyline is amazing! Im not normally a fan of AH stories but I read them every now and then and this has to be one of the best! :)

The End!
I am SO sad that this ride is ending! I've been 'on' it for so many, many months and have enjoyed every bit of it.
Kinda seemed, tho, that the last few chapters flew through their lives. I would've loved to read more about the pregnancy, about the baby shower, about the total chaos of the triplets' first year - but that's because I can never get enough.
This last chapter was so sweet - wonderful glimpses into their family life. The kids and their relationships with the adults ("my Jazzy" - perfect!), Bella's and Edward's still awesome relationship, Edward finally getting his business... Loved it all!

My eyes burn a litte from this chapter. I blinked a lot while reading, trying to keep from crying. Between the names and meanings behind them and the babies birthday, it was all so sentimental. I really love the names though. They all seem to fit perfectly.

Yep! EA and I were very sentimental as we wrote these last few chapters. Can't believe it's really ending but we are very happy to send them off with an HEA perfect for them.

Wonder how long the Tony nickname will stick. I'm bettin' that not long after some calls out for Toby and Tony comes running, or neither come and claim that they thought the other was being called, Tony will be out and Anthony will be in. (I'm of the firm belief that parents should try calling a potential baby name out before settling on one, see how it rolls of the tongue since they'll spend more time chasing after their kids and calling for them than anything once their mobile). And I think of Toby as a dog's name, but only because my grandma had a dog for over a decade named just that, so pay me no nevermind. Besides, I've always said I should name my kids Thing 1, Thing 2 and Hey You, just to make it easier on myself :)

I love the babies, and their names, they are truly perfect. So happy that everything is ok, sad that Bella will never have babies of her own again but it is ok, this is the way it is meant to be.

Names are very cute! And it is so nice that the babies were born on Aaron's birthday - that was a nice touch.
Sorry that the story is winding down, but loving all the lovin' that's in the air. So great that everyone is helping out. Jake being so helpful and responsible was a pleasant surprise. I think everyone has checked in now, and checked out the babies.
So glad Bella got over all her apprehensions and is loverin' her Edward.

OMG it's really coming to an end. I don't know what I'll do when I don't have WTB updates to look forward to.
I have to admit I was surprised that not only was there a proposal in this chapter but also the wedding. I'm glad that the proposal happened as it did though. I just couldn't see ExB's proposal happening in front of everyone. Heck they had a hard enough time saying "I love you" to each other let alon in front of everyone so I didn't see that proposal going over well. I loved that Bella made a flower ring and proposed first. That was definitely WTB ExB.
I can't wait for the babies! In a way Alice did kind of get her namesake.
In honor of this chapter and all the quoting glory I thought I would end on a quote. I read this and thought of this story.

OMG, I am crying like a baby, all I can say about this one is "absolutely perfect in every way." This sums up E getting the ring with Carlisle and visiting Elizabeth, Esme and Bella's talk. The proposals...yes I mean both of them, and of course the wedding, I love that you did that from Esme's POV.

Aw so cute. I love how sweet they are around each other again. Even with another scare, there isn't a lasting problem. I'm glad Alice was able to get a little of her frustration and anger out without really hurting Emmett. I think he needs to get a good wake up call from everyone to have an idea of how big he screwed up.
There might not have been kungfu moves from ninjabell but she has stealthy mind tricks to go with her ass-kicking manuevers.

I love Bree even more after this chapter! I enjoyed this chapter particularly because it showed everyone's maturity (or lack of maturity) in the handling of Emmett's confession. Your story is so true to reality in that therapy takes time, forgiveness doesn't just appear when you want it to. Your characters emphasize that resentment can't dissipate when you tell it to. I hope everyone forgives Emmett (eventually. As in, a LONG time from now). Although, I wouldn't mind it if someone (The Chief? Jacob?) never did. There is no such thing as a tabula rasa!
