Great update; really gave a clear snap-shot of what life was like for Edward after his father sent him to live with his Nanny. It showed his soft side, giving money to his grandmother and being respectful and caring with her, and to a certain extent with his brother. Carlisle was an awesome big brother to him, and it was nice to see the beginnings of his friendship with Aro. Edward's biggest role model was clearly Marcus, which fed his need to feel important and wanted and helped fill his need to show his father - who sent him away - that he is doing great without him. So young Edward was basically a punk with daddy issues, a dispicable role model, a supportive big brother, a loving grandmother who could only do so much to reign her grandson in, and a good heart where his family was concerned, but for everyone else he's out for himself...end of story. Thanks for not including in this chapter Edward sleeping with Jane...thank God it only happened the one time. Yuck! Thanks for this outtake.

I thought Aro killed Alec and two of his associates? I wonder when he kills them? Or am I remembering wrong? I liked reading these chapters, its just that you would refer to, "all the shit that happened in the city last night", and I have no idea anymore what you are referring to at all. I have no idea what happened last night. I know that the Cullens are on vacation in Florida right now but I have no idea what happened last night. I guess I could go back to read the chapters that happened just before this one again, or I could just get back to the Epilogue and the Sequel and stop worrying about what I can no longer remember. I guess that sounds like a good idea. So...'on with the show'!
