Getting pregnant w my son was the best thing to help me overcome an ed. As my body changed I could accept it and embrace it because it was no longer about me. It was all about this precious baby inside and whatever he needed I did.

When you have a loving, overprotective Daddy with old-fashioned values, it's not abnormal for him to impose limits like this. Not everybody agrees that living together is a good thing before getting married- a it's a lot of our generation's parents who would say so. A lot of people would roll their eyes at this, but I see it as a very loving gesture from a father towards his daughter.

I didn't think people with severe cases of OCD actually realized what they were doing unless someone pointed it out? I've only known one person with an actual case of OCD, but I guess it was mild or something (I dunno, I've only done a little bit of research in Psychology) because they had him on medication and you really couldn't tell (although that may have been because we were never friends, he was my older brother's friend's younger brother. Wow, that's potentially confusing)

Wow. You are describing this really well. I know this girl. I was this girl only a year ago. The panic attacks, the medication, the negative thoughts, the way you let weight control your life...I know that all to well. It's crazy to think that it was only this past August that I was 90lbs...and trying to convince my family and friends I was perfectly fine. I'm happy to say I'm getting better. Not having as many panic attacks, and I feel happier. I'm still pretty small weight wise, but I'm being healthy at least.It's just strange to read about someone who feels so familar. Someone I remember all to well, but I hope to never know again. As I said, you're describing her situation really well. :) Very powerful.
