Love this chapter, but I just have to point out one thing: Everyone always compares Bella to a harmless kitten. I'm guilty of it myself. However, has anyone every been attacked by a kitten? They're small but they can do a lot of damage. I used to have to swear shin guards when I went over to feed my neighbor's kitten.

I like that Bella is drawn to the monster as well as his softer side, and doesn't want to change him. Yes, huge steps for them, especially Edward. I have a feeling it will be a two steps forward, one step backward type of process with him. Is the she Esme? Will Emmett and Rosalie be in this story? Just curious.
