I am so glad to see she is opening up to Edward a little more each and every chapter. I am glad Alice threaten Edward if he would leave or do anything stupid. I know for a fact it would have killed Bella at this point if they left her. They have become a security blanket for her. It was good for Carlisle to show Edward what had happen because he would have never believed it otherwise. I have a feeling the more Bella and Edward spend time together she will open up to him since he is someone she is really starting to trust but it will be slow going for a little while longer. I can see Edward is starting to figure out just how much he needs Bella as much as she need him. I am sure the light bulb will go off soon. Great job and I am really looking forward to seeing what is going to happen next.

She knows that Edward is Emo and doesn't want him to fret because she's a klutz. Of course the Cullens wouldn't let him leave. Trhy know how much she needs him!!!! I think you're right that love is stringer than blood! Bella is opening up, she will also have varied reactions and some might surprise you, then again maybe not. I don't know. Alice isnt' suppose to look into Bella's future, but that doesn't mean that a vision might come unbidden or that Bella's action won't affect other family memebers and then she'd see it.

big sigh of relief bella is ok she was gone for 24 hours but she came home safe, poor edward was beside himself with worry and carlisle is asking him to tune in to her emotions and he still does not think of her as his mate, loved the meadow scene i'm pleased edward went for it and knocked on the door, bella had had her time to analize and disect everything from saturday night it was time to talk, i cant believe bella is a murderer she must have been forced to do something, i think hearing about edward past helped bella to think shes not undeserving as she thinks edward deserves a life and yet his past has similar links to hers (the murder thing) they both spoke some truths and drew comfort from being together again, love how bella slept on his shoulder this is probably another first for her, great chapter more please

I am glad Edward to the lead to tell Bella what he was thinking and feeling. It was more and likely good for her to her it from Edward that he just wants as much as she is able to give him and he will not push for more. It is so hard to let any one in after you have been hurt as badly as Bella has. Plus with the way she views herself as a monster in the worst way she will push away anything that bring comfort to her. I think it will help Bella now that she knows Edward feels the same way about himself and his past. I know it will take time but I hope Bella will be able to open up to Edward even if it is just a little at a time. She needs to start getting rid of the stress she is carring around on her shoulders all by herself. I am still surprised after Edward talked about mating that he didnt put the pieces together that is what is happening to him. I guess he is just as pighead and stubborn as Bella is. I'm glad Edward took the initiative to talk to her I suspect she would have taken way to long if at all to re connect with them thinking she was no good for them.
So I'm thinking Edward has a connection to her but to her emotions being her mate and all and that's why Carlisle had him concentrate on her, but I wonder why they don't want him to now, mmm interesting.
I'm glad Edward shared his past with her I think it was almost pivotal in her opinion in her own situation, that maybe she's not alone. Although I'm pretty sure she's not a murderer in the true sense of the word, I think she was forced into it. I feel like the Cullen's in this story because we don't know what happened so we are all in the dark as well!

I love it. Their first kisses were perfect. I am glad to see Edward is starting to realize what he is feeling even if he doesnt fully understand the meaning yet. ooohhh you're a smart on. Seriously you are pegging the emotional state of Bella perfectly at the very end of the chapter, minus the guilt. EVERY single emotion that Bella has felt for 2 years has been overshadowed by guilt. EVERY single emoiton is filtered through that. Now she had the night of her life and kissed a guy (trust me that kiss had HUGE implicationst o Bella) and now she needs to find away to either deal in this new paradiam or shut off. I promise though, there will be semi-resolution by the end of next chapter as to how Bella will move forward, or won't with the Cullens

So the baddies in my story, sorry to say, are the Rex boys. They were all I had left, I'm using almost all the other SM characters. Jake is the excpetion. I couldn't make him bad.

You are soooo sweet to me. To answer your question next chapter is the Homecoming dance so we are about mid to late October. Between now and the trial there won't be anything major happening. There will be chapters, and they won't all be fluff, there will be action and monor HF but there won't be anything epic. does that help? Well Jasper makes sense because he knows Edward mated, if that darned vamp would get a clue. LOL Trust me he will and hate himself but until then we just want to shack him!!!!!!

Bella bit down on her bottom lip and nodded. “I’m sorry. I promise it’s ok, I’m just not use to being close to someone. It startled me. It’s ok.”
I nodded and pulled her along to the lobby to wait for my siblings to get here. They arrived shortly and we all ventured into the ballroom where everything was taking place. Bella slowed down and paused. I turned to her and took both of her hands in mine. I noticed they were cold. “Are you ok?”

Wow, poor Edward he really doesn't understand what they are both feeling. He'll get it. The question is who will make the first move thoug, Edward or Bella? As soon as she called his name out, I thought to myself he is going to take it the wrong way and he did. Very cannon Edward, always the monster. It is funny because now that I think about it Edward and Bella never see themselves clearly, in your story and in the Twilight saga.

hhuuummmkmmmm good point on the Quil thing. But the Cullen's have agreed to not mess with her past w/o talking to her, so while there is more than enough information out there for them to find out Bella's past they are, for now, not doing so.
Edward at the trial! hee hee. I have a huge plan for all that, but you'll have to wait and see. Let's just say a LOT comes to a head during that trial. a LOT!
You're also right (man you're good) both canon Edward and Bella never felt they were good enough for the other and both battled in self worth. Neither ever really believe in the other's love enough.

i agree huge chapter i'm not sure where to start, of course bellas not just going to roll up to the cullen house and start chating about her past and what happened to her she's suppressed those memories well tried to for years and she's only known the cullens a short while like you say that stuff takes years with therapy and bellas fighting her demons on her own, it is nice that she can trust edward and the other cullens not to hurt her but thats it for now, bella now has to prepare for homecomming that probably takes a lot of mental energy to get to that mindset, cant wait for more this story is very well laid out and put together, and lastly i diddn't like the spider monkey comment either

She trusts the Cullen's to not hurt her, which is no little trust for her to give, but she can't do more yet. Physically I don't think she could get the story out w/o havinga full panic attack.
HomeComing will be a trial for her but all the Cullen's will be there to help out. Edward will have a harder time then she will in some ways . . .

Edward was totally reacting to what her perceived was going on with Bella. Let me put it this way, Bella is in an environment at that party that couldn't be worse, it is already everything she can to to hang on to her sanity, rubbing up against Edward and seeing hunger inhis eyes was NOT a good thing for Bella, then to have him take off scared and hurt her and she doesn't get why. She does not hate him, but Edward thought she did because of course he hates himself!
Yeah Eric's a douche and you will find out later what he wnated to do was WAY worse then anything else he could have done.

oh sad, sad, sad poor bella laying on the floor all that time crippled emotionally i dont think it was a rape thats too obvious a conclusion to make and this fic digs so deep into each persons character and explores their thoughts and feelings i think it would be something else i was thinking that for a couple of chapters and this one kinda helps me believe that more, i also think her parents are dead and thats why bella asked for flowers to be given to her mum, and seth says the last trial does that mean their was another at some time? bella is feeling the pull and dear edward feels it in other places and is upset with himself,

lo, I have to share that whole Jessica thing was never planned, she literally wrote herself in. LOL so I went iwth it.
Bella assumes that everyone hates her right now, plus when she saw him that first class on Tues he was glaring and she assumed she did something to make him mad.
Rose is scary!!! I wouldn't want to meet her in a dark alley! heck or a well lite one!

I have been following this story on ff and I am so happy to see it here. I totally agree with your sotry and how Bella would not open up about her past. It took me 5 years to tell anyone my full story and that was because I was trapped into explaining myself for a way I reacted. I love this story and cant wait to see what will happen next.

Yes College starts at 18 here, I have Bella at about 21 (turning next week) and the Cullens acting 21-23. No worries about asking, some of my best bb are from England!

I am so disgusted. Are you kidding me?!...20 chapters plus outtakes and NO reviews and only 35 reads. What is wrong with people? Then they whine when an author gets discouraged and pulls their story. Please don't...this is very-well written and extremely interesting. I'm rooting for Bella already. I might not catch up immediately, BUT I WILL REVIEW as I read.
A banner might help...i added one to mine last night and had 75 reads today...it was alot of work - probably because I'm computer illiterate, but it might help. Best of luck with your story, don't get discouraged....people are just lazy.

no worries, I added all 20 chapters today, I have been writing this on FanFic and decided to add ti here so I have gotten readers but WOW, thanks for the anger on my behalf!!!
