Awesome chapter

I can imagine that was a challenging chapter to write (for several reasons).  But, as usual, you did an excellent job.  It was sensitive, not outlandish, in character, and fit very well in the story.  Poor Edward!  I did feel sorry for his lack of privacy, but I guess turn-about is fair play.

Limeade - I love the story.  I wonder if Bella knows what a horndog he is?

I like how you handled the money situation.  I like how they both are growing together.  Still learning about each other.  All part of a relationship.

I don't see anything for chapter 37.  If there was something here before, it's gone now!  :(

Wow, what can I say?  A wonderful chapter.  I liked everything about it.  loved that Emmett is going to do her physical training, rose her self defense, the talk about the money, going to church.  I just love the way they have all rallied around and are working to make her better, as they make her part of their family.  Each step builds her security.  I think this is going to end up being one of my very favorite fics of all.

I especially loved the Carlisle hug; it was very sweet but not overdone. Bella has been through so much and it’s good that you are showing the progress at a natural pace rather than rushing through it all, even that simple hug is a huge step for her.

I’m looking forward to some Emmett and Bella time when he starts her training sessions. Emmett will be a good person for Bella to bond with as he is very light-hearted he will provide some reprieve from her more serious real life issues.

The spider scene was hilarious, The perfect bit of humour to lighten some very dark chapters.

In a way this was worse than the last chapter as we found out the true level of abuse she suffered but also better as Bella didn't have to go through the trauma of seeing their reactions to what happened to her.

I cannot believe the scarring Bella has, what kind of vile beast would mark her like that?

I know he has serious issues with his Vampire nature and is melodramatic to the extreme, but he should know Bella better than this. To think she would send them away... what a twit.

Poor Jasper, I hope he doesn’t stay away from Bella now. I think he is going to be needed in the coming chapters as we are approaching trial time.

An awesome chapter. It was hard to read in the beginning as I could see how easy it would be for them to lose the progress they had made together but it all turned out well in the end.

The meadow scene was very sweet, I had never thought of Bella's point [No one blames the lion for killing the gazelle.  That’s what he’s made to do. No, we would praise the lion that didn’t.] Its a valid point and it is an apt way to describe the base nature of Vampires.

Ordinarily I would be preparing banners for the next meeting of the 'Bella is pissing me off' and 'Edward is an idiot' clubs after their clueless behaviour in this chapter but to be honest they both have so much going on I'm not surprised that they keep missing the signals from each other.

The underwear conversation had me laughing so hard I cried. Poor Edward I hope Emmett never finds out about that conversation or Edward may well dismember him.

I thought of something I forgot to mention in my review for the Alice out take. Bella's reactions to changing in front of the others and when Carlisle tried to listen to her lungs both time she had a reaction be being exposed in front of other people. Is this just because of the trauma of her past sufferings or is she scarred in some way physically?

Jacob - I know I have said before I am not a fan of him but in this story I find him actually quite tolerable - This is real progress as usually when reading about him in any story I am imagining ways for him to be turned to kibble. So respect to ya for breaking my cycle of hatred

I loved this chapter, I was hooked from start to finish.

Poor Bella I can't imagine how she must feel finally feeling that she has friends that she can be 'normal' with then finding out how much they really know.

I like that her first thought was Angel's to her it would seem that way after everything she has been through.

I am off to read the out take now I can't wait to read some of Alice's thoughts.

I'm really glad Bella seems to be doing a bit better now. Her prank with the donation was hilarious, her and Emmett will be a force to reckoned with when they are working together.

Ugh Mike is back, I was hoping he would have heard about Edward scaring Jessica and steered clear.

I am glad you clarified Alice's behaviour in the last chapter regarding the party I am back to loving her now rather than being annoyed with her. Also the authors note cleared up some issues and although I am eager to understand what has happened to Bella I understand why you are writing it the way you are.

Ordinarilly I would be begging for an alternate POV by now (I am a POV junkie in fan fiction) but in this story telling it from Edward's POV only makes sense and although it means we are left with many mysteries it means we are living the story along with him rather than waiting for him to catch up with us all the time.

The idea of Bella being in witness protection makes sense and it explains why Alice had the vision of Bella leaving if Jasper tried to dig deeper into Bella's identity as it would have alerted the authorities.

Long ass review I know but I had a lot to say this time, hopefully it will make up for some of my more stingy ones.

I loved the Jessica/Edward showdown, it was awesome.

They seem to be figuring things out now, thats good.

I am fraustrated by Rosalie's selfish thoughts, you'd think she be a little more sympathetic towards her.

I am curious about the wrist cuffs Bella wears. Are they merely a aesthetic touch or are they hiding scars?

Ugh Jessica and Mike are equally repulsive, they should hook up and leave Bella and Edward alone.

Its very interesting reading about Edward's draw to Bella even though it is painful for him to be near her.

Poor Bella, It sounds like she is really suffering. I am curious about the phone call, when they mentioned 'the coming months' I thought perhaps she was pregnant but the fact that Alice met her last year and she was already so broken makes me doubt that.

Maybe it is the trial of whoever hurt her so much, I know in the summary it mentions rape so I am guessing that has already happened to her and maybe the attacker is coming to trial soon.

Oh well one way to find out, chapter 3 here I come...

this really is an amazing story.  I spent most of last evening reading it, and when I couldn't stay awake any longer, it was first thing on my list to do today.  I work from home, so between tech support calls, i'm finishing the last couple chapters here.  What can I say?  this is beautiful, amazing, heartbreaking, but so full of genuine love that it's magnificent.  I love vampire Twlight fics the best, and you're keeping these vamps very much in character.  I was on board with you in keeping bella's story a mystery till edward knew.  But it worked.  some stories, the revelations behind a character's issues are kept back for a while, but somehow, it doesn't work, and ends up just confusing the reader.  But you didn't do that.  You kept me with you, understanding and accepting, every step of the journey.  As for the changing bella thing, I kind of get what you mean about against edward's will, but on the other hand, I think edward truly did want it for himself, but felt guilty, due to the whole soul thing.  and I agree with bella in your story, how could anyone look at carlisle and think he doesn't have a soul?  So, my hope is that your edward will be able to come to terms with it, because the idea of a mated pair, with the woman aging and the man staying 17 is really gross, when you think about it.  grin.  also, regarding the subject in Twilight, Bella got married against her will, to some degree, but was happy when it happened, and i'd say the same for edward's part of the compromise.  It would have been a lot better though, if they'd both been on board with both issues together.  anyway, it's a truly beautiful story, and I'm glad I found it. 

hahahah... your A/N crack me up.. I think it is a great idea that they are both on the same page as far as her changing goes... (as long as they spend forever together in the end..lol.)  But

I love the way you have her trying to convince himself that he has a soul.. that is sweet..and it is how she can fix him.  love that.

I think you are doing great.  AND it is very realistic.  I have seen many people who have gone through very horrible events in their lives gravitate to one person more than others.  I think that is completely realistic.  Almost like they are focusing more on "natural" instincts because their normal ones are so out of whack. 

I can tell that you put a lot of time and thought into your characters, and I really appreciate that. 

Loving the story so far.  Great job.

cool chapter, nightmares are still present but bella reactions stilling somewhat is she was able to stay asleep for some much needed rest thanks to edward interventions, thats good for her,  and after dealing with some very innept profesionals and ones that need to struck off (but jasper is sorting it) bella discovers that therapy with the correct person can be so beneficial,   love to see bella with a smile, thanks tracy

I have really enjoyed this story a lot  and I can't wait to read more!!!!!!!!!! I hope that Bella is changed.  I have tried to read some stories where Bella stays human and Edward watches her die of old age and I just can't imagine being with someone that would never age along with me. Well anyway that is just my silly little opinion... YOu are a wonderful writer and can't wait to read more.

You did a wonderful job with this chapter!  The discussion between Bella and Edward concerning his soul was masterfully done.  It was sensitive and logical, with Bella providing powerful and convincing arguements.  I hope Edward starts listening to her!  I liked the fact that your Bella has standards and morals and believes in marriage.  I hope that your story will eventually have Edward changing her. 

The spider bit was PRICELESS!  As always, your talent shines.

Typo alert:  You have the phrase "carves you and wants you in bed" where you mean craves.  This is where Bella is talking about going home.  Lastly, "All the Cullen's have married." should be "All the Cullens have married."  In this sentence the word "Cullens" is plural, not possessive.
