This is so sweet!  I love how Esme really made Rosalie stop and think about her life, what could have been and what she has now.  We didn't see it much in the books, but I think you've really captured Esme's warm, nurturing side.  I also think that Rosalie isn't really that bitchy; she's just always had that little bit of regret in her life.
