It's really a wonder how something so...normal, living that is, can be the one thing that tears us apart. We live for that person. We thrive for that one person, and yet, if we are not careful, it can be the one danger that can do us in.

When I went back to reread this one last time before I posted it, I discovered that there are quite a few lessons imbedded in the plot line, that I never really saw before...and I'm the one that wrote it. Hmmmm...my subconscience is speaking to me again... :)

Such a sweet story with the right focus on the holidays. It was nice to see, that Bella and Edward have found each other again.

When I first sat down to write this, it was a WC challenge between a great group of ladies. My goal for the writing was to focus on the emotion and the details. I wanted to see if I could really write a piece that stirred something within me. I love stories that have an emotional anchor, not just angst but true emotions.

Wow. I know exactly what you mean. When I was rereading this and doing final edits, I started to tear up as well. I guess that there is some part of this story that truely touches us deep inside. We can relate on some level to the angst of not wanting to be rejected.
