Oh, dip! The scar was a great touch! I kind of wish he'd found some sort of mention of Maj. Jasper Whitlock, but I suppose the Cullens would take care of that for themselves. I know this isn't from this chapter, but I fell in love with this line: "If there was one thing I learned from my privileged upbringing, it was that life is too short to drink shitty alcohol."

I'm extremely excited about this story! I hadn't read it until now, and the feeling I have right now is like the feeling I had when I started reading Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone for the first time. Like something wonderful was beginning. I am beyond fascinated with what you've done with Alice's perspective. I feel a bit like Aro, and I can understand completely how wonderful he found reading Alice to be. I'm a bit smug at the confusion and irritation Alice is feeling for the first time in a very long time. She's always been possibly my favourite character, but she does get a bit annoying when she decides that no one can fight her decision because she's already foreseen that it's going to happen. I also love what Edward's lack of presence has done to the Cullen dynamic. I can very well believe that without Edward, Alice (and thereby Jasper) wouldn't be quite as close to the rest of the family as they are in canon. After all, in Midnight Sun, Edward talked about the particular bond they shared as fellow freaks in the vampire world, and how they managed to have their own sort of communication technique. I can see how without Edward there to reject her (and really hurt her feelings, even if she'd never admit to it) as she awoke from the change, Rosalie could possibly find more satisfaction in her vampiric existence. In Eclipse, she's rather smug when she tells Bella of her superb control, how she was considered the second-most controlled, after Edward. If she were a bit less defensive, and (due to the absence of Edward) she held the mantle of "The most controlled" in the family (after Carlisle who shouldn't count anyway, because he's been a vampire for over 300 years), I could see her putting her medical knowledge to use through practice. Okay, so with all that said, I thoroughly am enjoying yourr story, and I thank you for writing and sharing with us!

Ohmybabyjesus!!! I ´don´t even know where to begin here!!! Just know that I cried like the little baby that I am and that I had massive goose bumps while reading this!!!! Happy now?!?! ;D   I think I said before in an earlier review- but I gladly say it again - this story is so sad, but soulful and absolutely beautiful at the same time!!!  I'm plain right amazed by the storyline!  I still don´t know how you came up with this, where you found your inspiration, but whatever it is/was hold on to that!!! PLEASE!!!

OMG - now that he finally remembered her, they soon have to face their fate...So  my guess would be next or the one after would be showdown time!! I´m kind of dreading it...since all their pre-stories were so dramatic and sad, I know that this time won't be different.  I think that James manages to get to Bella and bite her but he gets killed by one of the Cullens before he can take her away. They change her but Victoria manages to take Edward with her when she flees....after that, I can only hope that they still somehow manage to track her down, end her and Bella and Edward can finally have their HEA for eternity!!! ^^

I can´t wait for the next chapter update!!! I love this story so much, it´s effing amazing!

What the hell?! Holy shit!!!! Why would he google Jasper with Whitlock as last name?!?! Ah dang- he must have dreamed more about his time as Robert and joining the Army with Jasper!!! Holy shit-this is so good!! And what about Carlile?!?! If they really met before and Edward wasn´t just mixing reality and dreams/memories why doesn´t Carlisle recognize him?! Or recognize but won´t admit it,then?!?! GAH!!! And how did the nomads find them so fast?! And when will Bella finally meet Edward?!?! Questions over questions!!!!! Oh yeah- Emmets patient file cracked me up so much!!! He is scared og bears coming after him and wa arrested for exposure!!! Too hilarious!!!!;D
