Good chapter. I'm hoping that Mr and Mrs Cullen and Renee and Charlie appear.
I still don't understand why people are so angry and them. They tried to protect them. Sure, they could have told them that they were still alive but there could still be a leak somewhere.
I also don't get why they're angry at Peter. He was just trying to do his job. Mr Masen, being in the military should understand this. He most of all should understand Peter's position.
I actually like Renee. I can see that she does care about her family but Charlie is her family also. If Bella had to choose between Edward and her brother's lives who would she have chosen? I know what Renee went through wasn't that drastic but she had a choice to make.
you already see Bella choosing Edward over her brothers. She didn't care if her brothers didn't like Edward, she continued to be with him anyways. What if Emmett and Jasper continued to say no to their relationship? Would she really break it off with Edward?
So you see, it's hard to have any sympathy for Bella. Let's not forget that Mr and Mrs Cullen wasn't exactly in a good state when Bella was put into a mental institution. They were left for dead. I'm sure if would have taken more than a month to recover from that. People don't usually heal from the brink of death in just a couple of weeks. What could have they done?
I think that they're all just childish. Especially Mr and Mrs Masen.
Great story though. I really enjoy it.

lol, I am really loving this. You know, I have this story up in two sites and I think that in alsmot 2000 reviews, you may be the only person to have defended the Cullen parents. I think you are right, they were trying to protect them. They didn't know what to do and they were only acting as they felt was best. Renee was put in the middle and asked to make decisions that she shouldn't have had to make. I don't think Bella, the boys, the Masen's, or anyone else is being fair, but it's a work in progress, I assure you.

I get what's going on. It's not too confusing except for the fact on why everyone is so angry and the Cullen parents and Renee and Charlie. I understand Bella being upset that all her nightmares were for nothing but her parents had to pretend to be dead. They tried protecting their family. Hmm, well, I think it is more than that. Think about what Bella went through. She was left in this dark, little cubby hole for two days thinking that she had heard her mom and dad, whom she loved more than anything, being slaughtered. Hour, after hour, she replayed their cries, screams, begging. Then when she is found, she's practically rabid. Instead of letting her go with her brothers, they shove her into this mental hospital that keeps her drugged up for a month.
Of course she's pissed off and angry when she comes out because she hasn't been dealing with what happened. Renee and Charlie are gone. The boys are doing their best but they don't know how to make the nightmares go away. Everyone else around her think that she was a killer. Then you find out that they were alive and you went through all of that for nothing.... I would be super pissed off, but that's just me. Thank you for the review and I really enjoyed this.

"Peter Nathaniel Whitlock, just what in the FUCK possessed you to be such a DICK to this family?! Are you TRYING to piss me the fuck off?! Dont answer that, I dont want to know what your excuse is." The tears build up again.
Peter sighs again "Honey, I know you are upset with me, but there is a reason for that, I swear to you darlin', it was the job. Never in my lifetime would I want to hurt them or you that way. It was supposed to be protection and it didnt go accordingly." He pauses. "Can you forgive me, I promise you, I will not do it again."
I sniffle "You better not Peter, or I will castrate you. I have thew vet on speed dial thanks to those pups in La Push."
Peter snickers "Sweet cheeks, I would not even tempt you to do such a thing. You have my word."
I sigh "Ok dear, as long as you do not interfere in a negative way again."
