So, Rosalie ratted out Bella to Emmet, is that the reason he was pissed off and opened her boxes. Was he planning on flipping out and forcing her to go with him? Because that guy is très très fou!
Is rosalie(<---totally hate the bitch mind you lol) jealous of bella being pregnant, or the fact that Emmet is going through so much to win Bella over or the fact that he kicks her ass everytime Bella does something he doesn't like?

I'm not sure I understand (yet) what's up with the dishes (perhaps he pulled out Edward's jerseys out of one of the other opened boxes?), but I certainly understand that Emmett is full of rage *and* has an uncanny skill at switching faces. Not dumb Emmett at all, but scary Emmett who leaves Bella feeling **decisions were constantly taken out of my hands by circumstance and events beyond my control** Of course babies do happen, but Emmett's smugness is telling, plus he clearly drugged her before their first time together. So much of what's been driving Bella's life since college has been Emmett, and not for the good.
And lord knows there are enough cues in this chapter that it ain't going to get any better: **I’m much smaller than him and can’t take some of the intensity in which he likes to make love...I shifted uneasily as his eyes narrowed slightly at me...I was so relieved he wasn’t angry about the baby. ... “I’ll go through them again tonight and make sure everything is labeled. Thank you for catching it.” (when she could be/is upset about him breaking her stuff) **
[shudder] I'm finding evil, manipulative Emmett enormously fascinating & am delighted beyond belief that you're continuing with this story (and that my votes for it *worked*!). While I wish that you could perform an authorial resurrection of Edward and have him ride in on his white horse and save Bella, at this point I'll settle for her finding a way for her and her child to break free of Emmett and escape, with no man in her life for a long while. Because, really?, once she figures out what he's done/doing, how is she going to trust someone else?

Everyone keeps hoping Edward will come back from the dead to save her. But to take Emmett to the level of evil I needed for this story, he has to be gone completely. Doesn't mean she can't have a guardian angel watching over her....

I think the only reason I haven't completely lost it over this storyline is because I know that Edward is dead and I trust you to make things right. It scares me that although this is fiction, a lot of fiction is based on fact(s) and for people to have the capability to manipulate others to get what they want is disgusting.
I sometimes wish I could look at a timeline of sorts and see how people, events and circumstances circle each other to bring them to where they are.

I can tell you're someone who analyzes the evidence. Wonderful! Yes, Emmett drugged her to have sex with her the first time, knowing once they started he could manipulate her to continue. Yes, he had Charlie killed for three reasons - 1) he had influence in Bella's life since she's close to her father and could talk her into moving home 2) Charlie saw thru him when they visited and wasn't impressed by Emmett 3) you'll have to wait to find out this one. :)

For some reason my review of chapter 1 did not go through last night so I am re-posting it.
OMG! you know how to get your readers undivided attention don't you? I read the Perfect Wife and the Jasper and Alice chapters so I know I'm in for a treat.
Edward is dead from the start, I'm not used to this and am mildly shocked. I had the same feeling regarding the character change with Charlie in the PF he was an absolute horror and I admit to jumping over the some of the first 12 chapters.
So our Emmett is in the Mob, no wonder he dipatched Edward so cleanly with his bare hands. I like his sarcastic humour, calling Forks Spoons and all.
You dove right in at the deep end, a powerful way to begin this latest and I hope long story. I wish you and Khaizzmatik never stop writing FanFic.

I love EP as well. She opened the door for all the mob stories. I just had to try my hand at it. I hope this story is a hit with readers. I wanted to leave everyone guessing from the very beginning how Bella could have a happy ending. The love of her life is dead at the hands of her husband. With just reading chapter 4, I see the utter ruthlessness that Emmett will go at to get what he wants.
I'll miss Edward and Charlie throughout it all, it just doesn't feel right without them.
Like Bella, I refuse to let go. I understand how his kindness and attentive can misguiding and especially without Charlie and Alice there as her resons of doubt she is caught in his mind warp and now trapped in his world.

Unfortunately there just aren't alot of GOOD Emmett/Bella stories out there. I don't know why people don't try this pairing. They'll do Carlisle or Jasper, but when it comes to Emmett everyone makes him an idiot. And lets face it, with Rose as his mate he needs to have an inner steel core to handle her. Why does no one see that?

I know you can't tell from this story, but Emmett is my favorite vamp.
