SLIGHTLY disappointed??? Yes, we were all hoping for his return for the party but we know you have something better planned for his return. I imagined that he would be back in time for the board meeting. After reading the sneak peek on your blog I'm MORE than excited for the next update.
All of Cherie's gifts were lovely and really fit the time and what was happening in the country. So many did without so much to aid the war effort. I don't think today's generation has any clue about the hardships that were faced here at home. Even the Cullen's who had money had to make a lot of sacrifices. Maybe your story will help to open their eyes a little.

So Edward has been gone over a year and a half and now he has been shot down over Belgium. I'm gettting almost as anxious as Bella! Hopefully they will all be home soon.

I am aware of how most medical professionals looked at patients during this time but seeing it presented in this story by you really brought it home. I am so grateful that now during schooling for future nurses they focus on looking at patients as people and not just disease processes. We are taught to support patients spiritually and mentally as well as physically. I would have to say I would probably be charged with assualt if a nurse spoke to me the way Bella had to endure by that nurse Ratchet. Bella is so strong and did her baby as well as Edward proud.

I loved how you've bonded them so completely that their connection manifests itself in their shared dreams. I loved the part when he felt the baby kick for the first time. The only thing I would have love to see was when Bella laid down with Edward after she had the baby and she just whispered to him that it was a girl. That would have been sweet. gosh, i felt soo bad for bella and the only thing i could think of was incompetent the nurses were.. i get that we know more about childbirth now but their level of cruelty and insensitivity for the mother in labor is just wrong! being a nurse is about compassion and kindness and most of the nurses there did not possess those traits. it was soo frustrating to read. but as frustrating as it was for us readers, we have to appreciate the research put into this chapter, so thank you for that.

I am so happy Gabriella Cherie is here! And she looks like her Daddy, aww! :) I do remember my mom telling me that my grandmother was so drugged during my uncle's birth and even her birth for that matter (even though she was born in the 50's) that she could barely remember any of it.
