Normally, Bella would never deliberately hurt another person, but we all have our limits, and evidently this was hers. I was a bit surprised that Jake would hurt her like that, but he did, so I don't blame her one damn bit for doing what she did! It was part defense of her love and part revenge and I would have done exactly the same thing!

I know...it's taken me a looooong time to finally review this but I don't like to not give you my full attention. :0)

So let's start.

First off- I love Executioners, just saying.

"a wicked, panty-dropping grin on his face every time he slung me onto his back." um yum

Dun Dun Dun....Jacob's at the door.

Now I know this is gonna sound odd...coming from me...but I don't believe that Jake would have ever done something like this to Bella. I know this is a separate story but then, I don't believe that Edward would ever go that far sexually with her before marriage either so what I love about this one shot is the way you've intensified aspects of these characters. They lose their IDs..or that part of their brains that are keeping their desires in check. I think Jake's brain kept him from being this extreme in the original story but I won't deny he probably had the desire to do this a time or two. And now we see why it's good that he didn't. It spirals into bad to worse very quickly.

oh and can I just say that I appreciate that this is in first person? lol I know. I'm a punk. But I prefer first person.

EPOV-

Aww is it wrong that I find it so endearing and sweet to hear Edward excited to be a randy little teen? lol

protective, furious Edward makes me feel like a randy teenager. lol

BPOV-

I have the same reaction to Bella here. I don't believe that she would rally Jake's death so...easily. I know he hurt her. I know she has fear and pain fueling her in that moment. But she didn't even rally Victoria's death like that. And she wasn't practically, according to SM, in love with Victoria like she was with Jake. I think Bella would be ashamed to want to have Jake die, but more interested in helping him than hurting him. That's what makes Bella, Bella to me. That's what made it possible for her to love a monster that wanted to kill her- compassion. But there again, that's not to say that if you remove the filter Bella might not want to see Jake end. It's an interesting spin on her character. It makes her very different to the original. In my opinion.

I truly see this moment as insanity for Bella. Even once she was a vampire she couldn't kill a human. I know he hurt her, but she can't be thinking properly to snap like this.

Good ridddance indeed.

Well done. :0) and congrats on the awards!!!

Author's Response: Well...thanks for the long and detailed review! That's just fecking awesome. As for Jacob going this far - yeah, it was a bit of a stretch, but that was basically the whole point of this story. We needed a villain and he was our prime candidate. I'm not sure if Edward would let things get so far - SM only hinted at it a teeny tiny bit in BD. I do believe that they had some kind of intimate explorations, but since she had to keep the book YA, it didn't delve any deeper than his shirt on the floor. So we took some creative license, and be honest - who doesn't like to see some limes in a story like this? Can I see Bella shooting the mutt? Yes, absolutely. Again, we made him a villain, and this is set after she had said goodbye to him already. In BD, he's in Canada, moping, but in this story he's reacting a different way to the invitation. I think it's plausible that he snapped, and thus it's plausible for Bella to exact her wrath on him. I think that kidnapping her and practically assaulting her would have killed any feelings she might have had for the dog. By the way, you are one of the very few who questioned the characterization - most people simply said, hurrah the dog is dead. LOL. Thanks for reading. Love ya!

Author's Response:

We absolutely agree *chuckles*  It was about time Bella came to her senses and handled the mutt properly, once and for all *snickers*.  Thanks for reading and reviewing.

Great! I loved it! I am such a fan of TwilightMomofTwo! It's not surprising that this won first place. Congratulations and thanks for posting this.

Author's Response:

Hi there! Thanks so much for reading and reviewing. Glad you liked it. We had a lot of fun writing it, and turning Jacob into such a dark character.
