She fully planned on marching back into that office and tearing a new asshole into anyone who dared to get in her way. When the elevator reached the final floor, she was alone.
The doors opened and before she could step out, she found herself once again face to face with James Brooks. His eye widened in shock and her fist flew without thought. He swiftly caught her hand and pushed her back into the elevator with his body weight. "

Okay, I understand Renee's behavior now. At least she finally came clean with Bella. Maybe now she can heal all of that hurt and move on from it.
I don't blame Bella for not telling Edward about the recording. I didn't even think about him running to James with the info. I think Edward needs to test James. Edward's hand squeezed her tightly as he pulled her towards the customer service department. The crowd was heavy with people and her heart pounded in her chest painfully. She pulled her hand away and started to push through the crowd, heading back towards where she last saw her son.
"Bella, wait!" Edward called, but she was too far gone in panic to listen.
She stopped for a minute and tried to think clearly. What would Jack most want to see in this store?
Immediately thinking of the answer, Bella tore off towards the escalators.

hell yeah edward. you have lost so many years already and you know you love bella and you want a life with your son why would you not move. jack is a kid and his firends and everything he knows is in their town. it is smart to relocate to their area versus trying to have a long distance relationship. and i am almost sensing that edward might be a little more accepting james might not be all that after hearing charlie telling him not to discount bella. i am hoping he listen. victoria and james are both very dangerous and edward should listen to himself or his family but not any outsiders. he can not afford to lose bella or jack. wise up edward. you where fooled once don't be fooled again. love it
