I really loved this chapter. I like the way you had Victoria die, she had a chance to redeem a little bit of her lost soul before she did. Whoa... that was a bit heavy! Not too sad to see Victoria go, but in her defense, she did try to help Bella in the end. James was a sick and twisted individual, I´m so glad he´s going to be rotting in jail. Jealousy really can eat away at people. I´m really glad that Edward didn´t get to mad at Bella because she believed James´lies in the beginning. Ít´s natural for her to freak out when she sees something that looks like official court documents. I´m just glad to didn´t keep us in suspense too long. Great chapter! So.....the reason James & Victoria did all this was because James was jealous of Edward because he thought he treated Victoria badly, Victoria threatened Bella & made it seem she wanted Edward back all because they were afraid Jack was going to recognize James?

I can't understand why Bella believed James so quickly- that would have to mean that all of the Cullen's were in on it. Too many people to act that good. Plus she should have realized that Edward would risk alienating his family if he choose to seek full custody and hurt, not just Bella, but Jack. Seeing a moment of opportunity, Bella launched herself off the chair and out of the room. Knowing that there was no place for her to run and probably nowhere that she could hide where he wouldn't find her, she set off to find the next best thing - a weapon. Sliding into a large stainless steel kitchen, she found just that in the form of a rack of pots and pans hanging above an island in the center of the room. She quickly pulled down a large and heavy frying pan and hefted it over her shoulder, moving towards the door at the opposite end of the room. As she eased it open, she found herself facing a flight of stairs leading upwards. Just as she placed one foot on the bottom stair, she heard James's voice coming closer.
"Isabellllllla," he sang out. "Come out, come out, wherever you are."

Knowing that there was no place for her to run and probably nowhere that she could hide where he wouldn't find her, she set off to find the next best thing - a weapon. Sliding into a large stainless steel kitchen, she found just that in the form of a rack of pots and pans hanging above an island in the center of the room. She quickly pulled down a large and heavy frying pan and hefted it over her shoulder, moving towards the door at the opposite end of the room. As she eased it open, she found herself facing a flight of stairs leading upwards. Just as she placed one foot on the bottom stair, she heard James's voice coming closer.
"Isabellllllla," he sang out. "Come out, come out, wherever you are."

Seeing a moment of opportunity, Bella launched herself off the chair and out of the room. Knowing that there was no place for her to run and probably nowhere that she could hide where he wouldn't find her, she set off to find the next best thing - a weapon. Sliding into a large stainless steel kitchen, she found just that in the form of a rack of pots and pans hanging above an island in the center of the room. She quickly pulled down a large and heavy frying pan and hefted it over her shoulder, moving towards the door at the opposite end of the room. As she eased it open, she found herself facing a flight of stairs leading upwards. Just as she placed one foot on the bottom stair, she heard James's voice coming closer.
"Isabellllllla," he sang out. "Come out, come out, wherever you are."

I'm so sad to see Parachute ending soon. It's been my baby for the past six months and I'm so thankful and grateful to each one onf you who has walked this journey with me! I'm not a big fan of angst or unnecessary drama, so our loose ends are starting to become tied up with Chapter 32. I only anticipate another 6 or so chapters before we're all finished. *sad face*
Parachute ended up winning the 3 Original Character Awards that it was up for, so much love and adoration to everyone who voted! Voting for The Avant Garde Awards ends on the 26th.
