Could Bella really have handled the situation? Maybe, but something tells me she probably wouldn't have managed too well. Not that things ended in the best of ways.
Does she really think he was joking? Was he honest? I guess we will find out on their date, Friday, who was joking and who wasn't.

The bear part was simply adorable!!! And then comparing it to Bella. If I was Edward i would be pissed at the guys too, they knew exactly what they were doing, and enjoyed it thoroughly.
It was over all a nice day, awkward and strange, but Bella and Edward agreed on a date, until Friday. They will still see each other, hopefully a lot.

Bella is kind of in a crossroad in her life. She ended a relationship that wasn't working, has good friends, but they are far away, and has her sister closer by. Still she is a lonly person, and it seems to be so by choice. A choice Alice doesn't seem to go along with.
She has preferred to keep her distance from people, that isn't always the wisest choice. Will her sister be able to pull her out of her shell?

He is starting a new job and under some considerable pressure, so he has to vent it out somehow. Smoking is one way, checking out a nice looking girl, another.
He is trying to find his way, and learn about the hospital. One person has got his attention already. Will he try to get closer? Perhaps.

Bella seems to like her work, and some of her co-workers. Even though she enjoys her job, she doesn't seem to be very happy with her life in general.
Now there's a new member in the staff, and one who raises gossip, Bella was attracted, as most women were, and she received a compliment in front of him. Is that good? or not that much?
We'll have to wait and see.
