AWESOME!!!! little story i liked the spirit animals but i would of gone with a gazzelle? for alice 'haha' and i think bella could be a jaguar ? thanks for posting and compleing this story on here ;D

Author's Response:

Thank you so much. It is such a pleasure when an old story is dusted up and enjoyed anew. The spirit animals could be different, I just choose them on a whim (and a discussion with my beta).

All's well that ends well! Their night of love was wonderful, no doubt, but I especially like Edward telling Bella he was in awe of her. That was perfect. Thank you again for yet another good story, you never fail to hold my interest. I think you write really good stories, and I look forward to your next chapter of Our New World.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for reading, I'llpost ONW when I am back in Rome, Later today or tomorrow.

No pity in my heart for Valerio either, he got what was coming to him. Aro had to do something about his knowledge of vampires. Now I want to know what Edward's problem is. He always has to let his guilt overpower his good sense. Maybe in a thousand years, Bella can train that out of him. No, probably not!

Author's Response:

The  emoboy is going to have a little epiphany, though. High time!

Cat-lover here also!. No surprise to me that Bella would willingly sacrifice herself for Edward, and the rest of her family too. So it made sense that Edward, in his cat form would jump with Bella. Sure glad Venus saved them, and gave Bella the key to close the gate. Now all she has to do is find that Etruscan tomb! As for your totems for the Cullens, I think you were spot on!

Bella was smart enough to figure out all the inscriptions, as we all knew she would. I'm worried about how she will deal with Hades, and what it will take for her to get out again.

Author's Response:

to imagine a meaning of the incriptions that fitted with the story has been both a challenge and a great fun. The Gate, completely obliterated by the market stalls when I was young and unreachable was an object of wonderr and desire for me. I had to give it a role-

Laura, I'm very glad you kept writing this story, even though not many reviewed. I sit here shaking my head, puzzled as to why they didn't. Makes me wonder if their mama's never taught them manners! I love Cougarward, I can just picture how lean and dangerous he looks! Cougars live around where I do and I have even spotted one in the wild! They are beautiful! From now on, I'm holding really good thoughts for Bella to find Edward and rescue her family.

Author's Response:

Thank you!

This is going to be incredibly tricky, to pull this off, Bella will need the help of Venus, without a doubt! I sure hope Edward and his family can come through this ordeal relatively unscathed. I feel bad for Bella, having to undergo all this alone.

After reading about the visions, I'm really glad Venus has offered her help. It's probably the only thing standing between the Cullens and destruction. I really hope there will be payback for Aro and his evil scheme!

You lucky woman, you, to have seen the filming of my favorite scenes in New Moon! Aro must be rubbing is hands with glee. He will be more than happy to assist Hecate in her revenge, as it plays into his distrust and dislike of the Cullens. Kind of a killing two birds with one stone sort of a deal. Here we go, the Volturi against the Cullens, again. Aro does not like to be outwitted, as he's arrogant enough to think he's always right.

Now I see how Aro becomes involved in all this, much to the Cullen's detriment. Too bad Salvi Donati didn't just drink himself to death! Alice's visions are frightening her, and probably making Carlisle nervous as well.

Sadly, the last three chapters have no illustrations, they have been removed, for some reason. I have bad vibrations from this drunken weasel. I think he's about to unleash something evil on the world, at least this corner of it. I hope Bella has found some clues as to her families' disappearences. I know she must be missing Edward and the rest. I would be miserable without my mate, I'm sure!

There is beginning to be a bit more clear. Evidently, Carlisle's family is paying for his thwarting Hecate's anticipated sacrifice, three hundred twenty years ago. If that is the reason, how in the world will Bella be able to rescue them all by herself?

Carlisle the compassionate vampire doctor is sure to try to save little Nina. He likes young Righetto and wouldn't want him to lose his love to these obviously evil men. I wonder what Aro has up his sleeve, sending Carlisle to his friend the Cardinal? That smirk on his face has to be an indication of some kind of mischief.

The story of Eros and Psyche is, in your view, very similar, in places, to that of Edward and Bella. I wonder if this means that Bella is about to embark on a quest to regain her love? If so, I hope she will have a bit of help.

After reading the other reviews I do agree that is a more complex read. That is one thing I enjoy about it. I have always loved mythology. Since having 3 kids it seems my brain is slowly turning to mush :). I enjoy storys that require me to interpet what I am reading.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for the review. I admit that Eros and psyche might sound a little too cerebral ... (not so much the next chapters, though).  If you have patience with me I hope you will love The Parachutist, where I poured my soul ...

I am really enjoying this story. I had more typed up but my phone went nuts and erased it. Please continue.

You are right, you need to know that we love your story. I love it a lot so please continu.

Author's Response:

Thank you very much. There is  something else about reviewing, not only that is a sort of objective validation ...

A reader who sees that a story has many reviews will be induced to read it ... if there are no reviews, it is like an empty restaurant, nobody wants to go in ...

I'll post as soon as I have assembled the images for next chapter.

Because I saw your note requesting reviews, I read this first chapter.  I like it.  I don't know why few pople have read it or reviewed, but if it's any consolation, my story has many readers, but very few reviews.  I think that most people are like me; I read voraciously, but rarely review.  I feel a story is many times a personal thing, and I really do not feel like I have any business judging anyone else's thoughts or imaginings.  That's just me.

Also, this morning, I heard on the radio that the President's speech the other night was too intellectual for most Americans to understand.  Here's the kicker - the speech was at a 10th grade comprehension level.  I tell you this because this story may be too cerebral for many readers.  Sad, huh?

Another thing - because I read voraciously, I usually read only completed stories.  I cannot keep up with several story lines at once; I get too confused.  There could be many more readers that are like me in this matter.

Now, one more thing - please continue.  I have read only the first chapter, just to see if it held promise, and it does.  It is very imaginative; I could not possibly create anything with such depth.  Don't be discouraged by lack of feedback.  Write because you have a story to tell; you don't have to please anyone but yourself.  I look forward to reading the entire story once it is complete.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much, I am hearthened and will continue posting, then. Strange, this possibility to interact with authors has changed my life. A few weeks ago I was reading a book on paper and I wanted to ask  the author  why a character had been put on the first chapter and then forgotten for the rest of the story and of course I could not. So frustrating. A review does not need to be a literary review, but just a comment, a question, an emoticon ... As I am Italian and some authors introduce sentences in Italian, google-translated (they are all wrong), I PM them(I don't put it in a review) and now I am editing the Italian of many writers, on Twilighted Net and FF net.

I learned from my reviewers, and some learned form me. In any case since we don't make any money, the opinion of readers is the only reward.

You are right, Eros and Psyche could be too cerebral for some - it was for me too, almost. After it i'll start posting The Parachutist. It is an historical novel with Vamps, AU, but it is certainly less complicated.

Thank you again, I'll look you among the authors.

The summary sounds so interesting!  I haven't even read it yet and I'm excited.  :)

Author's Response:

thank you so much. The stupid site did not tell me I had a review. I need to check my preferences.

I hope you'll continue reading and let me know what you think
