Thank for confirming that Alice is Esme's daughter. Will this all come out? I think Edward would be very pleased to know she was his sister. I was laughing like mad over this: She will be a great choice for Jacob, once he gets his head out of his ass.
I know it's a very minor detail but it bugged me a little. You mentioned Esme's hair was blonde in this. Carlisle's hair is blonde and if Esme's hair was blonde then they could not have created Edward and Alice who are both dark-haired. Even with this I did enjoy seeing the past and how Carlisle and Esme came to be together.

OOOOHHHH! LOVED the chapter as always. Alice's Point of View always makes me giggle but can also be quite sad (regarding her sister's treatment of her) but also serious. This bit was the most hilarious within this chapter I think: Why not just hump the man in front of the King?
Again you left me hanging with learning more about the unusual, shy child! *huffs* I am looking forward to future lemons and think you portrayed Jasper in a very sweet and romantic light in this chapter but he still has that dark cloak of mystery veiling his secrets from me. Grrr.

Yet another brilliant chapter. I kinda wanted to box Jacob's ears for thinking of himself instead of his sister but thought you portrayed it very well. Is it wrong that I loved how Jasper, um, 'decorated' the tree? :P I thought it was very befitting, but yet again you leave me confused about him...Though the tenderness he showed Rosalie...*sniff* it was so damn sweet! Is Jasper Mordred? Because Jacob was fighting Mordred when Mordred saw his men attacking Rosalie and then Jasper said that he managed to get there in time...gah! You have me in so much suspense but I do truly love all the guessing games :D

We discuss our dreams and plans for the future, our pasts and who is dating whom. My mother has always been cautious about certain subjects with me, although I don’t know why. It’s as though she’s worried I might stumble on something I shouldn’t know. But we shouldn’t have secrets from each other as we are family.
She was gone on holiday for a few weeks. I think she was missing dad too much and had to leave. Every time she comes to Camelot it pains her. The memory of how he died haunts her every day, not that I blame her. She was deeply in love with him and he was cruelly taken from her. If that happened to me with Isabella, I would never forget it either.
I shuddered at the thought. If anyone tried to take her from me now, they would regret it. She was my life now and Camelot was second. The King may not like that, as he demands loyalty, but he’ll live. It wasn’t like the other Knights didn’t have lovers or wives or anything on the side.

I also just wanted to pick her up and hug her to pieces for her upsetting past...may I bitch slap/kick/punch (or all three) Guinevere for being the self righteous little bitch she is?

Sir Jasper has done some research on Mordred. We know that he is the half-son, half-nephew of the King, but he also has an army outside of the area. About one hundred miles north lays a castle where Mordred presumably lives. So it is feasible that he could order an attack, although one hundred miles is a long way for someone to travel just to scare someone.
He also said that Mordred is not to be trusted. He has a burning hate for his father and desires the throne. I don’t know he knows this, but Jasper has been good at reading people.
I wish he was here now; I could use his expertise on what to do about Lady Isabella.
