I took your advice and found the orginal on ff.net and had it translated into french. It was worth it because there is some great stuff coming up. I also love to read this story translated by you because you wrote it. Others do not know what was going on in your mind while writing the orginal French version; therefore, I can read the traslation. but not really feel the emotions behind the words. I know that sounds confusing, but I hope that you understand what I mean.
Can't wait for story to be finished in English. No time frame needed. I will take it when I can get it. ;)

Of course I will stay as true as possible to the original version (isn't it fun to enter my mind both in French and English? being fluent in English, I can't stand to read a translation anymore because I can't stand to enter the translator's mind, I want to be in the author's mind, but with me, you have the author's mind whether you read in French or English :0) ) Soooo, I think you mean that since you read the story in "French-translated in English", now you're prepared to read it in English (whenever I post the real thing) because you know what I was thinking all along. Now, I'm not sure about the rest, if you mean that since the translation wasn't perfect, it was hard to see the emotions, or if it has to do with the story in itself, but I'll take it that you're enjoying the ride and that you'll stick with me. I'm happy that you're not pressuring me to finish this translation asap because right now I have no idea when this translation will be complete. It can be anywhere between 6 months and a year. I wish I could tell you I'm busy with RL and I don't have time to work on it much, but the truth is simply that I don't have the motivation to work faster. I hope you can see my point of view: I receive between 10 and 15 comments every time I post an update, and lately it's been less than that. I mean, I love when someone sends me a message that says please update soon I'm you're biggest fan, but I can't work my ass off for just one comment like that. I would need to have at least 50 (which I sometimes get with my stories in French). I can see why Icy posted the first 65 chapters of MotU in less than 6 months, heck, who would make 500 reviewers wait for ages ? As incredible as it may seem, they were made prisoners on Saturday morning, and they are now on Tuesday night. Edward is 25. The chapter when they were captured was first published in French in February 2010, and this chapter in French was published in September 2010. I'm sorry if the delay is way longer between the chapters in the English version, but for one thing there are more of them because they are shorter, yet they still need to be edited before I can post them, whereas in French I posted them as soon as they were typed. Also, now that Jasper is not one of the bad guys anymore, everything will be easier in regard with the overthrowing of the Volturi.

Thankfully Rosalie knows plenty about Alice's past. She will be able to fill some gaps. And Bella has certain knowledge too, that has to be also extremely helpful.
I am very glad that Jasper came back with a conscience and will to help Edward get rid of the Volturi. But for Edward to believe it so easily, he is a wishful thinker and/or cares deeply for his friend and yes, he wants badly to get rid of the bad guys.
Then we have Bella, just as Edward I am kind of shock with how quickly she is recuperating from her last ordeal, even if nothing happened. She is bouncing back quickly. Of course having Edward there to care for her has to be huge help. ;)

Bella's realization that Edward is her hero and she the repeated damsel in distress has her on edge. Maybe she wouldn't be as forward in her attempts to seduce Edward if she had not been brutely whipped and almost raped. Her defience would tstill be intact.
Will Alice regain her repressed memories? This seems to play into the fact she seems almost fridgid around men. What did her Uncle do after she was returned to his care? If she was six at the time of the dog attack and didn't go to the Hale's until she was eight, she endured his abuse for two years.
Looking forward to the down fall of the Volutri men at the hands of Edward, Emmett and Jasper. Really want to see Carlise hook up with his love interest....Esme.

Once upon a time there was an author called Milk40 who started to write a period fan fiction in French. The story attracted a lot of readers in the French fandom, and every update brought an average a 30 reviews. Milk40 decided to see if she could attract more readers by translating her story in English. She even asked a friend to edit the story in English to be sure the quality would be worth the reading. But try as she might, even with more regular updates in the beginning when she started the translation, the story in English never attracted a lot of readers compared with the number of potential English readers there are in the world. Milk decided that she would continue to translate the story nevertheless but wouldn't stress anymore about how long it took between the updates. Anyway, even though she does translate the equivalent of a chapter every other week, it can take her beta 3 weeks to come back with the edited version, so in the end it's not up to her if she can not update more often. Meanwhile, every time she publishes a chapter in French of any of her writing, she still continues to get an average of 30 reviews, which is a huge incentive to continue to write both for her French and English readers. So basically she writes in French to get the reviews she doesn't get in English, and she keep on writing in English because it is stimulating as it is an intellectual challenge, not to mention that even though she doesn't have a lot of followers, she doesn't want to disappoint the ones she has. End of the story. Until chapter 31...

I agree Bella's thoughts aren't entirely realistic. Lets not forget Edward gave her the drink which probably was very strong. His intention surely was to help her rest better, not this. So it might be the drink is also making her think oddly.
They both have somehownconfessed their attraction for one another. Bella isn't as happy as she would want to be though, she is well aware of their situation. Edward however feels more confident and sure that they can change their situation.
Lets hope someone has heard Bella's cries and goes check what's happening, and soon!!!!!
