This is a strange chapter. I can so clearly see the selfishness oozing off Rose while she talks to her sisters, and to think that she has every intention on making sure that Bella and Edward do not go anywhere in a possible relationship no matter how sordid it may seem is just despicable! The morman religion no longer supports polygamy. But the Morman's of the past had a more spirital basis to polygamy, they believe that it is the way to heaven. It started in the 1800's Christian polygamy is based on the old and new testiment reading that may hint at having multible wives. They feel that since it is in the bible then God much be okay with it. the movement started in 1990's so it is modern and new. C.P. also legally divorce their wives in the eyes of the government, But they never have a chuch disolve the marriage. So in the eyes of God they have multible wives but in the eyes of the government they only have one wife at a time.
Now that is a really basic and probley not completley politically correct. I have taken classes that have discussed both, but I am no expert.

Different people deal with things differently. Rose thinks that she deserves to be treated "better" then others to make up for what happened to her. But really she is just so insecure that she has to make others feel worse about themself so she can feel better about herself. It's a childish attitude that she is going to have to deal with. While Bella thinks that she almost "deserves" what happened to her because she must of done something wrong in a past life ans this is her punishment.

I have really mixed feelings about this story. If I look at the original plot, there is the main aspect that Edward leaves and sacrifices everything for his one and only love, Bella. This is normal, this has to be. One man, one mate.
And even there are a lot of three-or-more-some couples in the world, I just cannot find a connection to this story. It's not your style or talent what the problem is. You are a great writer and very talented. I don't want to offend or bother you. Just... There are three beautiful women whose worlds are able to exist only around one and the same man?! The jealousy must be overwhelming between them.
And his libido... huh, to have a man capable like him! :)
The punishments - it's a bit too much for me. I discussed this with my friend and we agreed on the fact that the physical hurt (unless it's a bdsm relationship) is not real in a honest, loving family.
I must emphasize: I don't judge this story, I don't want to be inpolite with you. I like your writing style that's why I'm here. And I'm trying to find a sense in the idea of the third wife. Maybe I should tell my secret wish: to make it somehow just the two of them. But, this is your story you know what's the goal.

I know that this story is all kinds of messed up. In no way do I even try to deny that. But it's a story that is meant to keep people thinking. I didn't want to write a cookie cutter spin off of twilight. Stephanie Meyer is a mastermind that can not be touched.
Sure the jealousy might be there at times. But polygamist think about what is best for the family so they try to keep in mind that they all are loved. I'm Catholic and was taught a very strict way about how people should live and how they should love. But after attending a university that has many people from many different walks of life I realized that there are many different ways to love. So who am I to judge anyone. (I'm not saything that this is what you are doing, I'm just making a statement.)
Now as far of the punishments go I know women that enjoy this kind of marriage they say it's freeing and allows them to focus on the important things because they know that their husbands are taking care of them. The punishment is a part of this. In a lot of ways I think it is sort of a mild version of bdsm. Who's to say that the husband and a master are so much different, whi says they don't love the one that they dominate. I'm just saying..
I know that you are not judging. But you have questions and I am going to try to answer them as best I can. But I don't live these lifestyles. I know people that live this way, not exactly this way, I am just mixing all them into one.... It's just more drama this way.

I loved this chapter. Rosalie did seem different in this chapter, more balanced... freer somehow. She might not be convinced that Bella would be a good addition to their family because of her lack of experience but not out of dislike for Bella nor because of jealousy. She was willing to listen, and that's a first; she had been too centered on her feelings and her objectives that it made her act selfishly, but she's ready now to move forward with her life and her family, and I think she does see Bella with them, even if she hasn't acknowledged it consciously even to herself.

I'm so glad that you got that Rose is becoming more balanced. I wanted it to be a slow moving change, but was afraid that people wouldn't notice because of the other things that were happening. Rosalie's family is not traditional and can't be put to normal standards so I could see where you may be worried.

Okay. This is the only story where I've started reviewing every chapter... ;)
First, I loved that glimpse into Rosalie's interactions with her sisters. It's nice to see, every now and then, that little glimpse - to be reassured that things are going sort of okay for her sisters and such.
Second, I really enjoyed the talk between Edward and Rosalie; and you even included Rosalie's inability to control her body's reaction to him. That's very her.
Third, meeting! Yay! Well, the start of it anyway! Rosalie saw that Bella and Alice were having a little girl talk - are we going to find out what was discussed later? Then, wow... Alice really unloaded on Rosalie. Had to happen, though! Throughout the story, I got the sense that Alice loved Rosalie, but she was sort of pressured by her, because of the baby issue. I guess I was right!
It can't be easy, knowing that her sister wife wants babies so bad, and not being able to have any. Alice knows she can have them for her, but also knows that she can't have them right now - the family's not stable enough. But Rosalie isn't exactly helping, right, she's not trying to make it stable enough. Poor Alice. :-(
I figure that's the real reason Alice got so attached to Bella so fast; she knows Bella would fit in just fine, AND Bella would have no expectations of Alice other than just being her friend and sister wife.

I am always second guessing myself when I write and am afraid that I have pushed it too far. So the reviews keep my twisted mind writing.
I know it tears Rose up that they are still there with her father but she does all she can to make sure they are safe. I think it was about time that Alice spoke up. I liked seeing Rose's talk with her sisters and it was interesting how Rose was ok with what Edward did when both he and Alice were having issues with it, though I understand why she was ok and agree with her. For the meeting itself, the content seemed a little out of the blue to me, though I suppose since we are sort of walking into this family, in the middle of their lives it makes sense that there are all these other issues we weren't aware of until now. Well done Rosalie for keeping her temper (for the most part anyway0 and I enjoyed her teasing Edward in the office.

I just started reading this story today. I must say that I have never read anything like this in my entire life. I had so many mixed feelings reading from chapter to chapter;
1) I am a true Team Edward fan and I have strict feelings on how his life should be. With that being said, I just stepped outside the box and went with this. I never read a story where he and Alice were lovers let alone married. The Lemons was hard for me to read with them. It just didn't seem real. I have read a story or two with him and Rose, but those never amounted out to anything.
2) For Bella to contemplate a relationship of this type is so foreign to me. I just can't imagine this. I guess as you progress in this story time will tell.
I'm not saying that I don't like the story and I know you didn't ask me to read it, its just that I'm taken back on this whole concept. I knew that they had a community of these types of groups just by what happened in Texas. I guess because I am such a Twilight fan and using these charaters, it just made this a reality to me that they are out there. So I say to you that for once in all my reading Fan Fic you have really caught my eye. I will be looking forward to the seeing how the ending of this will play out and I do hope there is a HEA for all involved. Thank you for your entertainment and the time you put into writing this story!

Woo hooo!!! Bella and Edward are going to give it a real go. I was going to complain that there was no family meeting yet but I think that the end of this chapter was important to do first.(I'm really looking forward to the meeting - I think any of the girls POV would be better than Edward for the meeting - I particularly like your Alice POV, but its just a suggestion). For some strange reason I love reading about Alice and Edwards sex life more than when he's thinkng about the others girls, and i like the fact they indulge both in 'pleasure' spankings and punishment spankings (I think it's rare for stories to acknowledge that people can use both in a relationship without confusion).
Anyway, it was a great chapter and I am really looking forward to the next update.

Polygamy like this is more confusing I think. I can understand it better when everyone starts dating at once because Edward said that with Bella he feels complete for the first time. Well from what I have read and been told about polygamy they never start dating more then one women at a time. It always starts out as one and then they start dating another. I have a friend that grew up in a polygamist family. We have had many nights talking about this thats one of the reasons that I picked this topic.
No I don't think that Alice or Rosalie would feel like they were not enough, anymore then they already do. Rosalie feels that way because she hasn't been able to give him children. Alice has already said that she believes that Bella completes them. My friend says that as a polygamist they believe that it takes more then one women to complete the spirital family.
I am going to try to show that each women fills a certain part of each other. I know that it is confusing and I hope that by the end people will understand.

This was a great chapter. I think it's one that we've all been hoping for! When they kissed for the first time....wow. It's like I could feel everything that they were trying to tell each other. It's not easy to get an emotional AND physical reaction from a reader, so great job with that! Hopefully Rose can get used to the idea of Bella being around....though I'm sure it won't be without it's drama!

Hey there! I've been following this tale for quite a while now. I like how you've managed to weave the religious and polygamous aspects into the Cullen world... as well as the modern world. I'm enjoying discovering the background of the women so far. I am really eager to see what happens in that meeting! One of the things that I'm looking forward to this story is when Rosalie wises up and starts cuddling up to Bella. Goddess, I'm a sucker for poly female "bonding moments". There's just something about that trust that has to be present between two people that are knowingly and willingly sharing a lover.
I thought I might sort of give you a little bit of feedback, if you don't mind. It's just a pet peeve of mine and it's not really serious in this story so I let it slide, but I thought you'd want to know anyway. It's the use of the word "thru". I mean, it's a valid word, and a common one at that. Even my mother uses it.
But it's my personal opinion that it not be used in writing, unless there's a specific reason for it (i.e. texting, notes, etc.). I mean, when a person is thinking they don't usually think in shortened terms, you know? If I'm thinking to myself, for example, I would think, "I gotta go through downtown on the F99 up past the bridge." and not "I gotta go thru...." etc. However, if I was writing it down in a text... yeah, I'd be all "I gtg, thru downtown F99 past bridge." So basically, it's all about what the situation is. So I would just recommend you try writing words completely out and just see how it feels to you and just go with whatever feels right to you. It's not really bothering me in this story because it's not all over the place. :)
So you haven't updated for a month and I know that's unusual for you. I hope you're all right, and just ran into a bad case of writer's block or something!

There will be some serious girl time in the coming chapters, what else would the girls do while Edward's at work. We may need to give Rose a little time to adjust, it may take her awhile.
I will try to remember not to use thru now that it has been brought to my attention. I don't put a lot of thought into the grammer involved in the story. I just write for fun.
As you now know I didn't have writer's block. I was having a hard time putting my thoughts on paper with everything that is going on.

Strangely enough I didn't see anything wrong with what Edward did - but then I didn't really view it as a full punishment; they were more like warning slaps to get her to stop the behaviour. That said, I can understand why they would consider this to be a big deal in their marriage.
I'm just curious... the way you described Alice's upbringing made it sound like her parents are monogamous, but isn't that one of the reasons Rose says Bella would not be comfortable in their lifestyle? It was nice to get Alices back story though
