LOL... naw, you're good. this story is great!!! but, yes! you are totally right. you cannot avoid a limit. i've read about hard and soft limits. Hard are just that; a total no go but soft limits are meant to be discussed and to be determined if it's something that could be explored. i also am aware of the green, yellow and red system. meaning just that... green is go or good, yellow is caution, possible discussion needed or a need to slow down the scene and red is basically the 'safe' word as it mean STOP.

It is a different type of chapter, it is also a very important chapter. It gives us the needed information to understand Edward and Carlisle mainly, but also Bella and Esme. Two women truly loved and in love. Sadly love isn't always all that's needed. Esme and Carlisle needed different things, and there was no way to compromise. However Carlisle seems to have regained hope, at least for Edward.

This was beyond intense and I don't think I was breathing much as I read it.
In my humble opinion, I think the biggest problem that E&B have is lack of communication and trust. I think this lifestyle fits them but neither of them are in a good place to expierience this together without one or both of them getting hurt.
